This fabric is primarily smooth, thick athletic fabric with some stretch. The back is a sports jersey/mesh-like material, but it's thick enough that it's not see-through. It's lightweight for wear in warmer temperatures, it's not really suitable for hotter temperatures like 75F and up. I would say it's ideal for like 60-70 F. The sleeves have thumb holes, but they're kind of high up on the arm so most of my fingers are covered by the sleeves if I use the thumb holes. The thumb holes are also placed wrong so the sleeves twist around your arms if you use them. The thumb holes are the major con about this top. It's a looser, drapey style top with a slight high/low hem line. It looks very flattering on me.

I wore this shirt this morning for training a couple of horses and in temperatures ranging from 75 to 97 degrees. The material is quite comfortable and it moves with you very well.The sleeves are too long for me and if I use those thumb holes, the rest of the sleeve reaches my other fingertips. I also noticed a significant temperature difference front to back. The back is more breathable and cooler in 90 degrees than the front. Overall, I like this shirt and will put it in my regular rotation.

I’m not in love with this shirt it’s just cut strange and I find that it tugs in the back and arms. It seems to run small from the chart so I went up a size to an XL and it fits perfectly on the shoulders, if I had gotten my normal size large it would have been tight. I’m 5’9” 170 small bust broad shoulders for reference. I like to wear these kinds of tops with leggings for my daily hikes but I personally find it a bit short in the front and even in the back, it’s a slight high low top but not enough length, I would have preferred a bit more length for rear coverage especially. The sleeves are long enough to cover my hands for better sun protection and this is 50 SPF which I like. There are oddly two finger holes on the end of the sleeves rather then the usual one, I’m assuming it’s for your thumb and pinkie and a slot between the holes so you can see your watch but if you are using the finger holes, the watch slit is on your hand not your wrist, so you can only use either the finger holes or watch holes at a time, not both at once which is kind of weird. The placement of the holes make it uncomfortable on me, when my fingers are in the holes this top tugs at the armpits and I went up a size. It also twists on the arm which most thumbhole shirts seem to do but the tugging at the armpit is annoying. They did however include an alternative thumb elastic inside the cuff and I found that preferable to the thumb hole and I can see my watch when using the elastic but it still twists a lot on the arm and feels annoying. I find it more comfortable without using any of the thumb holes or elastic but it’s not as comfortable as my Amazon brand athletic shirts that fit me perfectly. The material has a slight sheen on the front and it’s smooth textured and the back is a completely different fabric which is a little darker and a honeycomb kind of texture like basketball jerseys. It’s just not the most comfortable shirt on me, even though it fits, I find that I am aware of it on my shoulders, across my back and elbows, it’s just a shirt that tugs on you. I wouldn’t buy another one.
