Often when you buy shirts online, the size, quality and look are iffy! I was so pleased with thisshirt that I bought two more. Their weight makes them perfect for Fall and Spring weather.Could be a little hot in hot climates, being long sleeve and all!J. R. Knott

The shirt fits well for a large, but it’s not a slim fit so keep that in mind if you’re used to a tighter fit.I like the fabric, it’s ticker than regular cotton, a little heavier but still comfortable to wear. It also stretches a bit.What I didn’t love. I got the green and was a little disappointed it looked a more brown than green and was darker than the picture. I’m not 100 percent sure it’s wrinkle free since it got a little wrinkle, I need to wash and see how it does still.Overall happy with the purchase.

Overall the fit of the shirt is great. Good lines, good stitching, very nice color, and generally quite well made.My issue is that the fabric is a lot heavier than I expected. Much more of a heavy polyester/wool blend feel than anything linen or cotton. That's not a bad thing unless you live in a more tropical climate like I do. It really doesn't breath much at all, so it's going to get toasty pretty quick. It is listed as "fall / winter / spring", but I think that deserves greater emphasis (and may make a good selling point for the right audience).Like I said though, it's a nice shirt. You just need to be in the right environment to enjoy it.

Like most Coofandy products I have gotten I like this shirt very much. My wife loves the Wine red color. I am a size large and it fits as expected and drapes well over the shoulders and chest.. The one issue I have is that it is a heavier,to coarser fabric than i anticipated so I do not expectto wear on warmer days. It can be worn as a shirt or an over shirt for layering. it's a nice looking shirt and overall am happy with it.

The material in this shirt is very heavy and it runs large. I ordered a large which is what I usually wear in a dress shirt and this one was huge on me, more like a XL or even XXL size. The material is warm, so this is one for cooler weather. Wrinkles do just drop out, has an extra button with it.

I used to wear "Flannel Shirts" as cover shirts -- that is, I'd wear a T-shirt underneath, tucked in, and then add a cover shirt that I'd wear untucked, and usually unbuttoned, or maybe one button closed to hold it together. The cover shirt is to regulate temperature while moving in and out of cold spots in the house, or between indoors and out-of-doors. Flannel shirts seem to be a thing of the past.This shirt is a GREAT replacement for flannel shirts, for a cover shirt. Nice and warm, with a thickness that blocks wind and keeps body heat in when fully buttoned. Like a jacket, but without the weight or bulk of wearing a jacket. With it unbuttoned, a nice soft material like a shirt needs to be, and negligible weight so you can wear it all day.The shirt is well made, and is slightly larger than the normal size for a Large, but not over-sized to an XL, so it easily layers over a T-shirt or even a dress shirt. The color (Olive Green) is a very dark olive, putting it at a color between "dark" (like a black or Navy or deep brown), and "medium" (Like a medium blue or gray or brown). The color blends well with other colors -- I have some yellow T-Shirts and orange T-shirts that this cover shirt will "tame down" the color of nicely.With this shirt as a cover shirt, I'll be able to wear it from now (first day of autumn) through the winter when the temperatures are in the low 30's, only having to switch to a real jacket or coat when the temps dip into the 20's and below.

For the sake of review readers , to the point , I love the shirt, but was expecting it to be lighter fabric weight. The material is thicker than expected, reminding me of lightweight wool shirts I wore 25 years ago. The material also has a similar feel (texture) to those wool shirts minus the "scratchiness", lol. For summer here in New England I think the shirt would be too warm due to its weight , but I will incorporate it into my winter layering. Again , not what I was expecting, but I do like it. I am a squeak under 6' tall and 215lbs, average 59yo body and the XL fits good.

I enthusiastically like everything about this shirt. The outside is textured, with an extremely subtle herringbone pattern to it. The inside is smooth and silky. I’d be hard pressed to find a more comfortable shirt in my closet. It’s very well crafted, with neither a stitch or thread out of place. The shirt is heavier than I expected for a casual dress shirt, and that’s fine by me. It’s sized appropriately, yet hangs loose – definitely not tight or clingy. It’s straight cut with side slits, so I have the option of wearing it untucked, or tucked for a dressier occasion. I have no idea what it’s made out of. There are no identifying tags, and the product description page is coy and only states “high quality fabric.” And high quality it is – whatever it may be!
