Nantucket Beverage Dispenser 8ltr - Vintage Style Clip Top Drinks Dispenser

This attractive drinks dispenser has been perfect to take with us to picnics and festivals - it is high quality, heavy glass so there's no risk of it tipping over. The pourer works well and the lid has a good seal. It is very large so it'll take a while for the Pimm's or whatever other beverage of your choice to run out! It also is very easy to clean.

The glass is thick and sturdy but let down by the flimsy tap. Comes with a replacement second tap but a shame they didn't invest enough in quality. Having said that so far the first tap is still working

Even after hot gluing around the tap it still manages to leak! Loosing all my kombucha & so disappointed!

I use this for brewing regular small batches of wine or beer - I got fed up with demijohns which are so hard to clean. Dead yeast etc sits below the level of the tap when fermentation is over so decanting into bottles is simple - no more messy syphons. I used a diamond tipped circular tile cutter bit to make a hole for the airlock bung in the glass lid but you could easily jury rig something else if you don't want to damage your jar (and of course it still works fine as an occasional punch dispenser with an ordinary demijohn bung in the hole - but come on Nantucket, market opportunity here!) This makes small scale regular brewing easy with a couple on the go all the time - ideal if you have a tiny kitchen like me. The plastic tap might be better replaced after a while with a metal one, but these are easily available.

Arrived on time; easy to assemble; came with a spare tap; didn't leak and dispensed the Pims perfectly.

After a couple of weeks use in our café, the plastic tap broke. Luckily we bought three, so we quickly replaced it. After a week this one broke as well. Again, the joint in the plastic tap broke. We then exchanged it with the last one we had and after another week, this is now also broken. So no, due to the extremely low quality of the plastic tap, we cannot recommend this item for any professional use (and probably not for home use as well, this i how bad the plastic is).The glass jar itself is nice though.Ps. Another thing (if you ever think of using these kind of jars to tap lemonade/water etc from): You cannot close the top lid completely and still use it to tap water from. It will flow very, very slow, due to the air pressure in the top keeping the water inside the jar. A definite "design flaw" that all these jar dispensers have - not just the ones from nantucket

The actual glass, is really well made and good quality. But the tap is plastic and when I've filled it up its leaking. I've had to use super glue to create a seal, and it's still leaks a bit.

Dieses Gefäß war schon sehr häufig erfolgreich bei Vielen Gästen im Einsatz. Gut zu gebrauchen und auch das Reinigen ist relativ einfach!

Diesen Dispenser habe ich gefüllt verschenkt. Für eine Party ist es ein echter Hingucker.Die Verarbeitung erscheint mir gut. Der Ausgießer ist bisher dicht. Bin sehr zufrieden.
