you say your dog has struggled with this yeast problem in his ears for 11 years!? Unknown to many, and the typical veterinarian will tell you that your dog has 'allergies'. What I now KNOW is that yeast issues in our pets are a symptom...meaning there is an UNDERLYING CONDITION. For my own furbaby...undiagnosed HYPOTHYROIDISM (the medical vet had missed it for 7 years of my pups life, never even suspecting) My own search for answers ,  and being a student holistic care for both humans and animals...well, long story short...I spent HOURS researching. Checking symptoms and seeking answers to what was actually going on with my pup. The vet LAUGHED me when I said I wanted a blood work up done on my pups thyroid....explaining 'I' suspected hypothyroidism. Well. I WAS RIGHT!?Research hypothyroidism or thyroid issues in dogs...check the symptoms of both hyper and hypo. If it leads you to suspect either...get the vet to check your fur baby's thyroid levels. this product is mainly made of with hazel...it's a good product even though it didn't perform as I had needed it to as far as cleansing properties. But I'm not dissin' on them or the product.. For 'general cleansing' I would definitely place this in my top 5 choices...and they honor their warranty /no hassle. If you fgo to a vet to seek treatment for your dogs ears...double check that what they want to use or recommend isn't ototoxic.(meaning potential to cause hearing loss... a dog struggling with ear infections is better than a deaf one) I use a product (on occasion, still, despite my dog being on thyroid medication....he's a floppy ear dog so moisture being stuck in the ear of a floppy ear dog is a breeding ground for bacteria,yeast etc. it is under a product name that starts with a 'Z' and is very popular....because it works) I would recommend this product for cleansing. I would not recommend it for trying to rid your pup of a chronic infection. That's my knowledge and opinion on the matter. Hope it helped!

What happened yo the original formula? The one with witch hazel boric acid and iodine?
