The Jobu Design Black Widow Jr.3 Deluxe (BWG-J3KDLX) Gimbal Head is a compact, lightweight swivel or pendulum head. At 680 grams, this is the lightest Jobu swivel heads on the market. A combination of a carbon tripod with this pendulum head is ideal for photographers who travel a lot. If a low weight is a meadow and you travel a lot on the plane, then a Jr.3 Deluxe is the solution. The Jobu Design Jr.3 Deluxe is based on the Jr.3. Using a hollow aluminium base arm, this swivel head is particularly light. The difference to the ordinary Jr.3 is in the removable swing arm which has a quick release integrated in the case of the deluxe. The arm is machined from a single solid block of aluminium and not moulded. As a result, Jr. 3 is not only lightweight, but also very durable. Of course, you still need a quick release plate to fix your lens. This swivel head has been designed for lenses and devices up to a weight of 5 kilograms. So a combination of device with a 70-200mm f/2.8, 300mm or 100-400mm or 300mm f/2.8 is no problem. The Jobu Design Jr.3 Deluxe can support and oscillate a 500mm f/4 in combination with a professional DSLR camera. However, Jobu recommends a heavier HD3 or Pro2 head for those who use this suit every day. The Jr.3 Deluxe fits all tripods with a standard 3/8 inch screw thread.

Excellent Quality and very stable
Excellent Quality and very stable. Would have preferred the rotational lock knob on the other side where it would not interfere with the plate release. Disappointing that at this price no quick release plate was included but given the price of some of them this is not surprising. Defiantly a quality product and very quick delivery well packed without an oversize box which is so often the case.
