Lighting Innovations 3 X 400MM PULL OUT WIRE Metal BASKET FOR KITCHEN LARDER BASE UNIT CUPBOARD SOFT CLOSE

I purchased a set of three shelves to fit in a 40cm wide cupboard to give better access to its content. I decided on these baskets having reviewed the alternatives and the associated feedback. I am not disappointed. These are really sturdy with self closing mechanism. They are clearly designed for quality kitchens.As others have stated, the instructions are minimal and I have attached a photo of them so any prospective purchaser is fully aware. To help others I thought it useful to share the knowledge I gained from reviews and my own experience.Your first decision is at whet level you place the lowest shelf. The key is to use the existing shelf locations. I only had one shelf and took it our and placed it on the bottom of the cupboard (to give clearance) and put the basket assembly including runners on that. I was then able to drill small pilot holes in two places on each fixing bracket (2nd photo) and insert screws (Philips 2 screwdriver). I then remove the basket and runners and secured both sides with a total of 8 screws (provided) to each side.There is a black lever on each runner (photo 3) that you move up on one side and down on the other side to release the runner. There are also two large screws on each runner (photo 4) that allows width compensation if your cupboard in not quite 40cm. A mistake I originally made was not fixing the basket on the runners in the right place - check the diagram. Getting this right certainly helps. I also located the bracket for the runners about 12.5cm from the cupboard front edge.Finally, to get the location of the other two baskets I inserted the old shelf support pins in holes in the carcase and put the old shelf on them to give me the position for the next basket.So with the first one installed it became quite straight forward to fix the others. However, in a small width cupboard you do need a degree of flexibility, good eyesight and an inspection light!Hope that has helped.

First impressions, quality strong product, fitted into our 400mm cupboard and is excellent, if they did a 350mm would buy for them as well.There are some grey shaped brackets with no reference in the instructions, asked seller who responded immediately, they are for the back of a door if you want to pull them out with the door, we prefer them as individual baskets.The only downside were as others have said, instructions are useless to the point of not bother putting them in.With a bit of thinking and reading other reviews they are quite simple to install.Use shelf holes for fixing guide and at the back of the runners the black lever releases the runner to enable access to bottom fixing holesI am impressed with overall product and would definitely buy again

They are a bit of a pain to fit, awkward. However, they are great to use in cupboards instead of traditional shelves. They are sturdy and run smoothly on the rails. I’m very pleased with them.

Great product. Faffy to install and I used stronger screws but all in all I'm delighted with this sturdiness of the drawers and hinges.

I purchased both the 400mm set and the 500mm set and I was very pleased with quality and strength of the runners that still operate smoothly with the heavy load of tins, and has a very satisfying soft close mechanism which some models out there don’t. I also contacted the seller with a question about the product and they were very quick with a response and helpful. I would highly recommend.

The product details clearly said it was for a 400mm cabinet, but the drawers were 430mm wide. Really don't understand how this could happen
