Strong + Easy to Install!
Needed crossbars for our Highlander for a luggage carrier - called the Turtle Topper by our grandchildren. Worked great. Easy to adjust. Like the locking mechanism.

Good crossbars for the value
2024 Subaru Crosstrek LimitedThese crossbars are easy to install even though the instructions are a bit ... lacking ... and they grip the roof rails well. I've used them to carry building materials - doors, sheet lumber, 2x4s, etc. Build quality is not as good as Thule bars, but they also cost about a third as much. The protective film over the locks is the devil to remove. Some users have reported a lot of wind noise or whistling. I think your experience will vary depending on your vehicle and where you install the bars. I have a quiet whistle around 40 - 50 mph, which stops when I get over 50 mph. With music on I don't even notice it.

Durable and sturdy for me!
Wound up choosing this one because of the weight capacity. Have it on a 2008 Honda Pilot, with a Smittybilt Overlander tent on the rack. Weighs about 130 lbs. Recently went on a trip and hit speeds around 70 and there was no noise or movement.

Looks great, but I don't trust them
The bars look great, are fairly quiet, and fit my 2019 Tiguan well. I bought them primarily to use for my kayak in a J-cradle, and had intended to use eventually with my roof box and ski racks, too.The first drive with the kayak on top was fine but was mostly slow driving and no significant side winds. Next time out within 5 mins I noticed the kayak wasn't where I put it and things were getting wonky. I though it was my fault and I hadn't strapped it down tight enough, but when I pulled over to check it out I realized the front cross bar had slid about 6" to one side so everything was cockeyed! I got the wrench back out and tightened everything AGAIN and finished my 10 mins of driving. After a short 1hr long paddle I loaded the kayak back up, gave the rack bolts another quick tighten up, and took off. 10 mins into the drive and everything went sideways again!I also noticed the kayak rocking side to side pretty significantly while driving - at first I suspected the inexpensive J-style kayak rack, but no - the cross bars were flexing like a trampoline. I expected them to be more rigid than that given the high weight capacity rating.Maybe they'd be fine for ski racks or a roof box, but I can't trust them with my kayak so they have to go back.

Don't fit Ford Flex
It's close.... But these really don't properly grip the factory roof rails of a 2016 Ford Flex.

Requires torque wrench and hex adapter to even get close to the propper torque
The bad:Iffy quality control. The left side end caps required some custom trimming as someone managed to mix up the right side exterior mold with the left side inner mold. Leaving a part half backwards.Rail had some minor dings and scratches that went through the powder coat. Not a big deal as these are aluminum so they aren't going to rust away.Loss of an end cap will see the rubber strip wiggling its way out of the track.Included Allen wrench is an absolute joke when the instructions call for 4nm.When tightening the feet up the sickout position will shift so be ready to tap the back where you want it until its tight/stops moving.Whistling noise(Probably due to the messed up end caps)ProsRobust extrusion profile. When tightened properly absolutely not going anywhere.

Good racks and great customer service
I put these on my Crosstrek. They look great and have very little noise. Wrapped them in some Dakine rack pads and they’re perfect. I also had an issue with the keys and the customer service had me hooked up with a set of keys within a couple days. These are a great value.

This company is a scam that sells trash and won't refund your return...DO NOT BUY!
I am not sure who is at fault here, but amazon said their product would fit our 2008 subaru outback. The first order did not fit (too long), so we sent it back and ordered a different size (shorter bar length...amazon also said this would fit). It turned out it was still too long. Our return order eventually showd up to the provider and they sent us pictures of our box (exactly as we sent it, with the same duct tape on it), but said it contained an item (a pop-up tent) that they do not sell and refused to refund our order. Now they are saying that our second order has not ever arrived. Now we are out over $300.00 that we are never going to get back. Amazon has been unresponsive in resolving any of this. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.We ended up ordering Yakima bars and towers. They cost twice as much, but are made of durable materials and fit....PERFECTLY. In the end, this whole endeavor has cost us almost $800.00 when it should have been much less and ASG (the maker of brightlines) actually has our product back in their custody long with our money. Total BS! Shame on this company and shame on Amazon for selling their crap.
