Deliciously surprised!
I was really nervous, having experienced the smell and taste of cod liver capsules, assuming the actual liver would be the same or worse, so it took me some time to “prepare” myself to open my first can.Oh my! They are nothing like the capsules. These are delicious and filling and can be paired with a lot, making it exciting to enjoy each time. They also provide nutrients that sardines lack and vice verse. I switch between these and sardines about three times a week. I’m satisfied with half a can in one meal. Some cans have more discoloration than others, but remember, these are liver, not fresh fish, so discoloration is normal. Don't throw it out. Send it to me, haha!My favorite way to eat them is with pork rinds, living a keto lifestyle. In Joy!

Surprisingly Delicious
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I wanted to start incorporating into my diet for the nutrients. I opened the can, mixed in some pepper and the oils back into the meat, then placed on crackers and dug in.It’s actually quite enjoyable. If you like canned tuna, you will like this.

Delicious cod liver
This is my third type of cod liver I've tried over the last year, the other being Threeline (ASIN: B07PBZ14RJ) and Riga Gold (ASIN: B085HZMJ5T).It's just as good as either of those options, it seems that cods liver is cods liver, it tastes more of shellfish, but it is extremely tender - like a fish without any grain or flake. I eat it straight from the can and use some high quality white bread to soak up the remaining cod liver oil. I always have the whole can at once, which is a total of 450 calories.I regularly have tuna, octopus, sardines, and mackerel for my supper, and this makes a welcome addition. The FDA says you can only have one can a week due to the copper content, but it's so rich that one is probably enough. For me, though, this is a real treat, and I look forward to finding ways to cook it up. The best part is that everyone else in the household is turned off by the fact that it's liver, so I have sole claim on the whole stack.Of the three, this is most like the Riga Gold - it has less oil and more cod's liver than the Threeline. The cost is almost exactly the same, they're all about $3.16 per can if you buy 12.Anyway, I would definitely recommend this, either for those who like cod liver or enjoy tinned fish in general. I ordered this dozen cans and I'll be ordering more when I run out.
