Good idea but.......
I ordered this product after reading a review in a car magazine where it compared more favourably than a competitor. What I liked about the product was its ability to interrogate the OBD port to identify engine management faults. It also had journey tracking facilities that I was less interested in but could have been of use. The product arrived fairly promptly and I connected the unit to car and after a bit of trial and error (possibly my fault), it connected and identified my car's details on my Samsung A5, but I was unable to get the system to record all journeys made. It would either record none of a journey or on a long journey it would record small chunks of a small part of the journey. I have asked a number of questions to the supplier, but the key question which I have now asked twice " why is the journey logger not recording the journeys properly?" I am still awaiting a response despite promises that Tech support would respond. So I have taken one star off for the journey logger not working properly and one star off for a poor response from the supplier. I have now turned the background tracker off as it also appeared to be dragging the battery down. As the unit recognises my car's details, hopefully it will identify the engine management faults should I be unlucky enough to have one, otherwise I have bought a little box with flashing lights.

Check privacy policy before buying.
It doesn't tell you in any of the adverts but look at they're privacy policy before buying, it says that they WILL use and share your data with appropriate parties, they do not say who these parties are or why they would need this information, I have seen online that insurance companies have got hold of peoples info after accidents and had not paid out because three days before they had done 75mph on the motorway, the insurance company will use your information NOT to pay out your claim, please be aware.
