STAMFORD INC.37111 Amber Incense Sticks, 20 Sticks x 6 Packs

I love sandalwood. I was on holiday and put my feet too close to a camp fire - ive been hooked ever since. Ive tried the more expensive ones from the like of clarks, a very fancy scent, but theyre just not quite the same.Ive also tried burning the cheap ones from primark but they just dont smell too good and never fit in my insence bowl.With these they have crushed the sandels into sticks and they smell great!Dont try the sandelplastic ones... They smelt horrendous and left me feeling a bit dizzy.Realy though, Ive tried other scents from the same company and this is my favourite. I use them in my kitchen every so often, in my lounge i burn frankincense resin - which cannot/will not ever be beaten! Variety is the spice (or scent) of life!

I have used Stamford Incence, mostly Jasmine, for years. This one, forced to order two big boxes, which would be fine, but both boxes must be either produced incorrectly, a bad batch, or fake..The genuine ones burn clean, long, with a pleasant smell. These seem drenched in chemicals, almost wet. When it burns, there's almost no scent, but burns with a strong chemical smell. The ash is a big give-away; it should be light coloured, easily break apart/fragile and fall away easily. This forms dark, large pieces, that stays together under a air bit of pressure.I used to buy them from a shop, but moved to buying online. My first order was perfect, one box from a company, but they ran out. This order of two boxes came from someone else. I know the genuine/correct product.I tried ''drying'' them out. I left some in a drying cupboard, some in a towel on a radiator, and some in the sun. Nothing helped, the heavy chemical element remained; because at first I thought it was a freshly produced box or something.Hopefully my new order, from the Stamford Inc. Amazon seller, should be the real company an the real thing. Be careful when ordering, and don't use ones that seem wrong/off. Any sort of chemicals could be in them, and cause all sorts of problems.

Paint stripper? Ammonia?I checked the store front for the seller, RF impex Ltd, and they sell all sorts of odds and ends, including strong chemicals.It comes across as if they just dump all these seemingly end-of-range job lots together, regardless of the cross contamination.So the brand probably is Stamford, but they are rejects.And they just put them loose into the postage packet.I bought 2 other fragrances direct from Amazon, and they came in branded boxes, and smell amazing.Although this is going to cost me in postage to return, I am doing it.Amazon down grades sellers who get returns.

I ordered this for a hippy themed event, but it didn’t really smell of cannabis, and I don’t particularly like the smell for using at home. Some of the other Stamford incense sticks smell much nicer in my opinion.

First thing is that the black print on the label comes off on your fingers. It makes me wonder if these are in fact Stamford. Second negative is that the ends on the sticks are not all the same thickness, some are too thick to fit an incense holder, others are so thin that they sway. Final negative is that they extinguish themselves when only part burnt meaning you have to keep on relighting them, yet another sign that they may not be the "real deal". Yes they do smell of Patchouli, but that's the only positive thing I can say about them. And just in case any one thinks it may have just been one bad pack.....nope all 6 were as bad as each other.

These are the best lavender incense sticks I have ever bought. I absolutely love them & am always ordering more. The smell is incredible & long lasting & can be smelt all round the house. It’s not at all over powering but very subtle & light. Great price, great value, lovely aroma & always very quickly delivered. Can’t recommend enough.

I bought the Amber, 6 packs.They light up ok but then only lasted like 20 minutes tops.I thought they smells ok, not great, but ok.Then people walk in and ask if I had been cooking fish.Then again couple of days later and every time after that.So I went outside, walked back in and yes, it does smell of fish, Mackerel to be précised.Although you can't smell it so much when you are in the house, but you do when you walk in from outside.So had to chuck them all away.Don't want my house smelling of fish.
