Whenever rain stops play, don't despair just open up your Sticky Wicket Cricket board game and carry on playing on this perfectly packaged portable pocket size packet of cricketing fun. Each player bats and fields in turn just like the real thing with the necessary contentious decisions on the way no doubt as the roll of the dice brings runs and appeals and wickets. Each team probably has 2 innings - but that depends on the bowlers of course. This is a Quikky dice rolling game with simple rules for 1 or 2 players. And you could play with all 11 different mates per team if you want of courseYou can download scorecards from our website or make up your own and create series averages for batsmen and bowlers and ideally take revenge for any unfortunate defeats in the real worldThis game is not suitable for small children [under 36 months] due to small playing piecesHi there, just wanted to clarify what our games are aboutThey are a simple mechanism for enthusiasts to imagine they are really out there competing in whichever sportThey are intended to be portable fun but some are more fun than othersWe have chosen to transform every sport we can to offer them to their fansImagination is a big part of our games and a basic understanding of the sport is required for the more 'technical' sportsWe do not attempt to describe every aspect of each sport as this would take reams of extra sheets [eg we don't mention 'googlies' or 'reverse swing' in our cricket games]Players can readily add layers of detail over the top of the basic mechanism of dice and counters driving the game alongAll the games are designed by us, both the gameplay and imagesThe images are printed and applied and the bits assembled individually for you on the day they are posted

house rules can easily be applied to make the run rate for each ...
A neat quick time filler, which takes between 30 minutes - 2 hours, depending on your selected game type. (From 20 overs up to full tests are possible) To facilitate reality, house rules can easily be applied to make the run rate for each cricket type more realistic. For example, in 20 over games, the bowler rolls 6 times per over (one roll = one ball) HOWEVER this method gives an unrealistically high run rate for 4 or 5 day games, so in these games, the bowler rolls a reduced rate of 3 times per over. (One roll = 2 balls). The game plays well 2 player or Solo. The tin in which the game comes is neat for storeage but for game play, which necessitates handling very small counters, it's a bit fiddly and a note pad can be easily utilised. For those so inclined, a Cricket Score Book could be used with names etc being given to every player. There is no strategy, it's all pure luck...dice rolling decides everything. The plus side to this is that every outcome, be it an appeal or a huge hit, is absolutely random. The game has a strange addictive quality and as such is recommended for a light bit of fun.

Rain not stopped play.
This is just a lovely little game, simple, but fun, and takes me back to my childhood, when dice games on a wet afternoon were just as much fun as playing Cricket outside. This game has clear instructions, not too many dice, so it is not too complicated, there is a scorecard and overs used all within the compact tin, which is great as it doesn't take up too much space, which is just as well, because these days, I tend to play this in the pub, so more room for my pint! Great little game.

I say old chap, jolly good shot!
Cricket is my favourite sport and thought I would buy this to play against friends and I must admit, it does not disappoint. I find this a much better game than HOWZTHAT! as Sticky Wicket lasts a little longer. I decided on this version as you can play all forms of the game (T20, One Day and Test matches). I have enjoyed playing this and it is great to put into your pocket to take down to the pub to play against your mates. Great fun and if you are a fan of Cricket, this little game will appeal to you.
