It's good food grade silicon, does what it is supposed to do. It protects and seals in your griddle plate away from moisture and animals/insects. All of these on Amazon fit the older blackstone griddle plates perfectly. It's good quality, and even matches the color scheme. If you have a model with a hood, they account for that with the cutouts. I'm impressed with the build and material. Well done guysThe new Omnivore plates being used now have higher wind shields towards the front of the griddle plate. Check my pics to see what I mean, it isn't long enough in the front to cover the plate.I cannot fault the seller or product for that, I actually forgot to think about it. I don't think any sellers have specific omnivore plate covers yet. It still covers the most important parts, and with a hood/hard top cover like mine, it still fits perfectly, in fact, it's even tighter for a better seal.

I saw this grill cover and although we don’t own a Blackstone, I wanted to give it a try because of the coverage over the sides of the grill. We previously had a big, black, all over grill cover and it was just a pain. It got so gross and was not easy to get on and off. I liked the idea of a silicone cover but not that most seem to have the edges exposed—potentially allowing water to get underneath. This designs solves that problem! It is a touch long for our grill because we have a 36” Nexgrill brand, but I just pull the extra to the front and it allows the water to spill off. We just had a storm and I was able to pull this cover off to reveal my grill top still totally clean and ready to use!Please note: there is a strong chemical-like smell when first opened, but it does go away.

Got this for a 36" blackstone with attached hood. This fit perfectly. All 4 sides are completely covered and can open/close hood with no problem. Easy to use. Highly recommend!

I've been wanting one of these for a year now but my main concern was "will my lid still go on?". This one fits my 36" perfectly and is thin enough to allow that lid to go on so I'm able to still have that hard top protection while also keeping bugs, dirt, etc from getting on the griddle. You just can't beat this protection for the money. You spend all that time getting it seasoned so why not protect it?

So I got this for my Member's Mark (Sam's Club) 36" griddle. I wasn't sure how well it would fit since it's not a Blackstone. While it's not exact, it fits well enough to do the job. The material seems thicker than I expected and definitely like it will hold up over time. I also particularly like that it wraps around the edges rather than just laying on top of the griddle surface.

Even though we have a cover for our Blackstone grill, this silicone covering adds an extra layer of protection to keep the grill dust and dirt-free and ready for grilling. If you keep your grill outside at all times, this covering definitely is a must.

It amazes me that people believe these silicone covers are to be cooked on!!!That is NOT what they are for.It’s a cover for the blackstone surface. Personally, I would add another layer of a traditional grill cover (coverall type bag). However, my blackstone is stored in an enclosed patio (rolled outside to cook) so it isn’t subject to the weather and other elements.Even so- this cover is nice to protect the cooking surface and make sure there is no question about whether or not you are done cooking. Once the cover is on- the blackstone is off !
