Rudolph or Grinch?
Made this last night. When I coloured the white fondant it was a lovely shade of light brown. Came home from work at lunchtime and it’s now green. A cross between Rudolph and the Grinch. Slightly concerned on what colour the other three colours I bought at the same time will change to! Not impressed at all.

Really white
I really didn’t think that this would work but oh my, it really does turn the buttercream white. I needed it to make some white waves on a sea themed cake and it looked amazing.

Strong black colour when left to develop
Good product. Please be mindful that dark colours require you to leave them to develop. Dont put too much in thinking its not going black. Only a small amount is needed. Leave for 20 mins and it WILL go black.

Waste of money
I will not use this brand again. I ordered 2 colors (brown and purple); made my cake; left them to set over night and they all turned green!!!! Horrible!!

Very black if you get the quantity right, but it's a lottery
A bit hard to gauge how my much you need. Sometimes I use it and it ends up grey, other times I use it and it's blacker than my soul. I still can't ever remember how much to use to get my buttercream actually black, which probably means I'm over-using a completely uneccessary amount each time. Would be good if there was some guidance included. Also the pot is really awkward and you can't even get a teaspoon into it, so you end up manically digging blobs out with a knife. It is really black when you get it right though!

Used for dying fleece for spinning into yarn!
Brilliant to use to colour alpaca fleece. I soaked the fleece in a vinegar/water solution for 30 mins then applied the colour and ‘fix’ in the microwave.Lots of beautiful shades of blues. So much cheaper than buying actual acid dies! Really strong colour and good value. It’s a shame you don’t sell a pack of assorted colours!

OK.
This had no flavour, but to get a dark black colour I had to use majority of the pot. Then when people ate the biscuits, they got black teeth. I have this brand in other colours and it's worked fine. I find the pot quite annoying as you have to use a tiny spoon or tooth pick to remove the product. Too small for normal teaspoon.
