Saikai Pottery Traiditional Japanese Blue And White patterns Japanease Rice Bowls (5 bowls set) 31043 from Japan

This is my second set of bowls from Saikai Pottery. I gave away the first set as a gift which were greatly well received and I couldn’t resist buying another set for myself as they were such beautiful and lightweight porcelain bowls. As opposed to the first set which were much smaller, these bowls are 5.5 inch in diameter and are just perfect meal portion sizes. The gold trims on the edges of the bowls were a lovely touch! I don’t see these being my last purchase of Japanese pottery

These bowls are beautiful, practical and sturdy. Where have they been all my life.

We love these. They match the style/color of other traditional blue Japanese bowls we have. Great size/shape. Sturdy and dishwasher safe. Crab is a favorite! They come in a nice box, so easily giftable. We use them everyday for cereal, rice bowls, etc.

Opening the box and unwrapping the bowls I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were. The colors, the designs, the size, all left me impressed beyond expectations. They are worth every penny and more. And I believe far better in overall quality to the Chinese faux Japanese ceramic ware. I appreciate your introducing them to me. Thanks from a warming Montana. .

I bought the same bowls more than 15 years ago in a shop in Chinatown (NY). I was so happy to see that these bowls are now available on Amazon. They are beautiful and ideally sized.

I am a fan of Japanese ceramic kitchenware. Very excited when I received the order. I was concerned it might break during delivery but it was packaged very well. Love the great quality and design from Japan. Perfect size for my family. Looking forward to collecting more from Saikai.
