Good product
I found this product by chance while looking for post surgery support products foe my pup. It allows her to get a break from the cone and let's me relax that she has a little protection. I got two sizes and ended up using the larger one as I didn't want the material too close to her incision site. It did get soiled unfortunately but it's lightweight and easy enough to wash. The velcro is really strong and if you aren't careful, it can attach itself to the fabric. Still a great post surgery product.

Great alternative to the cone
It fits awkwardly on my 19 lb toy fox corgi but I think it’s because he has a unique build- large neck and chest, long body, and thin. Medium fits the best considering the chest is tight but the butt and low back area is loose, in addition the Y leg straps are a bit long so it’s not as tight as it could be in the incision area. He is able to stick his nose and tongue under the material when he sits. I would make the Y straps a bit wider for more coverage to prevent this. Overall, well made, soft, and much better alternative to the cone of shame (which this boy found his way to escape the cone in less than 1 minute).

Worked well
Fit well to size, ease of use, and my dog seemed to be comfortable in it. My dog is a shedder and this seemed to attract hair.

Worked great for my Doodle!
I knew my dog would NOT wear a cone and it would stress him out more than his neuter surgery! I decided to try this based on reviews. I measured him according to the instructions and the fit was perfect for him. He's a 46 pound Golden doodle and the XL fit him perfectly. The onesie worked great and he was not able to get at his stitches and he really did not seem to mind wearing it at all. It is easy to roll up for potty breaks. You may want to buy 2 to have a back up for when one gets dirty. The onesie washed and dried fine with no shrinkage.Highly recommend!

Workable but design flaws with cut, velcro, seams
I've had this just over a week. This is a functional surgery suit and it's been workable, but it has some design flaws. If you have a dog that has a wider chest than hips (which is pretty much most dogs) the rear end will be very loose, as the cut is really straight from front to back. I was able to criss-cross the rear straps to make it work.It also has flimsy seam construction and velcro issues. The velcro is super strong, but the velcro straps/attachments in the rear seem to shrink/curl with use, leaving the velcro edges exposed. Two things happen: 1) the exposed velcro edges stick to everything fabric - my clothes, sofa, the dog bed, etc., and 2) the seams on the velcro attachments/straps are being shredded by the velcro every time I undo the rear. The collar is too thick and the arm/neck openings don't have much stretch, so hard to get it on/off. It is the correct chest size for my dog, once on, but tough to get on especially during the time immediate post-op when she is sore and doesn't have full flexibility. The suit would be greatly improved by adding a zip closure running the length of the top, which I found on a different surgery suit that I now use instead of this one.The other suit I bought is better made and $10 cheaper. I bought about 7 different suits, and two actually worked - this one and another one. So it did work, but I thankfully found a better option in the end, because it's too expensive to replace this one regularly (and I do think it's quite overpriced). Still, if you're desperate, it might be worth a try. Just don't expect the velcro straps/seams to last very long.

Amazing!
The XS size is perfect for my 5lb Yorkie! She is recovering from her spay surgery, and was not handling the cone well at all. As soon as I put the suit on her, her entire demeanor relaxed and she is less stressed out. It covers and protects the area I need it to, and does not allow her access to her incision site . Also it's super cute!

If you have a dog that doesn't like wearing clothes, don't get this onesie
Often I wonder if dog products are ever tested on rowdy dogs, dogs who chew, and dogs who are active. The marketing photos and videos always seem to get the most well behaved dogs on the planet, not representative of all dogsThis onesie was great in theory. My dog got fixed and I didn't want to cone him because he'd hate it. Onesies like this were a good alternative. After a couple days into our 10 day recovery, my dog had enough with wearing this. The velcro on the sides of his butt at first worked great and were real strong. Then one morning I woke up and he had one off. The velcro lost all of its strength and could be torn off easily now. The other flap gave later that day as well. It's just me and my dog in my house, so no one else to watch him like a hawk while I'm at work. That's not my fault. This suit should have held up as advertised. I ended up sewing the flaps on and super glueing the flaps down to permanently stay. My dog stepped out of the feet holes then I slide it up for bathroom useAlso the technique of undoing the flaps and rolling it on the underside for bathroom time was weird. Hard to roll when your little bud won't sit still, and I didn't like how it was secured.I would suggest find a different onesie that closes along the back/spine so your pup can't get at it. Buttons would be preferable, I don't trust velcro for something like this anymore.Or if you doggo is super well behaved, this should be fine. My experience on the other hand was terrible

Was way better then a cone of shame
He didn't mind wearing it. It did stretch a little though the day glad I got 2. But crossed the straps over his butt to make it tighter for longer.

Perfect solution to keep my dog from licking and irritating skin issues
I like the fact that bottom can be rolled up for washroom purposes. Material is light weight and does not cause overheating. It is being used to give my dog a break from the cone since the wound needs to be exposed to air as well. My dog is a 16lb Bichon Frise and the Medium fits perfectly

Comfy
Bought for my chihuahua after she was spayed. Was a nice fit and she seemed comfy. She did manage to shimmy out of it a few times and once got her back legs stuck inside which was quite funny. Although not for her when I couldn’t help her for laughing!!

Fits well!
So the fit seemed a bit too big initially but then I cut a small hole in the neck part to feed his collar through so now the collar holds the suit up closer to his head so the back part isn’t so baggy anymore! It’s a male dog, size XL and there is a flap part on the chest to roll up the back when you let the dog outside, so you don’t need to cut any holes or take the whole thing on and off every time the dog goes outside!

It works!
I am so pleased with this immediately ordered another! My little dog, despite my Vet telling me not to keep him to calm activities until his neutering wound had healed, as soon as he was free of the 'lamp shade' round his head, gave this suit a joyful and vigorous work-out. Anything less than a very robust and well designed suit would have become out of place or come off entirely. Most importantly, it covers the neutering area of the male dog. Other suits do not do this.

Save your sanity and buy this!
If your dog is your fur baby just like mine is, seeing them struggle with a cone is going to break your heart. This suit worked so well for our bernedoodle! The velcro is strong enough that he couldn't wrestle it off (he only tried once) even when left home alone. We followed the sizing chart and it worked great. We brought our suit to the vet when he went in for his procedure and they put it on for us when he was under so he woke up in it, which was great.Easy to undo and then pull up around his back for potty breaks and a very soft, breathable material. It can get a bit smelly though, so just pop it in the wash and then hang dry! Then you're good to go. We ended up buying 2 so we could rotate. Our vet recommended he wear it for 10 days. This suit really helped him heal well with no set backs! 10/10!
