The ceramic mug itself is very high in quality and the heating technology is very discreet. I own an Ember mug as well, but this one by Hurkins looks better. The included lid makes it very practical in usage.

It heats fine if the cup is completely in the middle of the circle. But it doesn't have an automatic shut off after a few hours! Anyway, none listed in the booklet.

This mug is exactly what I was looking for, and I highly recommend this mug! I’ve always wanted a mug warmer since my water and tea cool down so quickly, especially during winter, and it’s also not easy to constantly replace my cold water with hot water when I’m working in the office. I wanted to find a fair-priced one with decent quality, and this mug perfectly fit so well to my needs. I was debating whether to buy a black or white mug, and I’m glad that I got a white one. I love the simple & minimalist design, and the packaging was very neat, pretty, and thoughtful as well. It’s visible that the designers cared about not only the mug itself but also the packaging. I really appreciate that aspect, and I think it would be a perfect gift option because of that:) I’m also very satisfied with the size and capacity of the mug. It’s a bit bigger than a regular/small mug size and that’s what I wanted. I was concerned about forgetting to pull out the power cord when I leave the office and had a huge relief when I learned that it has 8 hours auto sleep. Can’t wait to try hot chocolate in this mug during the Christmas season!!

I really like this. It keeps my coffee and tea warm with perfect temp. This is so much better than microwaiving coffee which ruins the taste. You can also charge phone with it at night! Great value

I bought this to try before buying as Christmas gifts. Glad I did. After charging it over night I tested on my coffee and my coffee went cold.

I usually never write reviews because they never feel satisfactory, but this product absolutely made my day!!! I’m a freak about finding the prettiest mug out there—this definitely checked the box and to top that it also has the best heating pad to use all the time especially on the colder days at home and in office. I can’t help but recommend this!! Must buy!! Perfect for the holiday christmas gift 🩷🩷

This self warming mug is well designed, and is perfect choice for gifting during winter holiday season! I always got frustrated how fast my hot tea gets cold during winter, but now I don’t have to worry about it with Smug. Also, I was amazed that mug warmer can be used as phone charger; who doesn’t like useful additional function?! Beautiful and minimalistic design compared to any other mug warmer options on amazon so 10/10 recommended.
