Not so purple
It's not a true purple, more of a lavender, a bit pinkish. Knowing a bit about LEDs I sort of expected this. The really good shade of purple-y purple known as "phosphor purple" because it is made from blue LEDs with red phosphor is getting harder and harder to find. I am disappointed to be correct. (Sigh.) Debating if I should return these and try another brand such as [just for example] the Bluex. They may not be any better, particularly since they seem to be of the exact same construction as every other assorted colored PAR38 floods I have of various brands. No doubt they all come from the exact same factory in China irregardless of the name on the box.Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you may like this shade. And if not then I'm not sure there's much alternative. But if I do find a better kind (In my opinion, more blueish and less pinkish) I will update this review.UPDATE: Have had these installed for several days and the more I look at them the more unhappy I am about the color, or lack thereof. So I ordered the Bluex brand bulbs which arrived today. Compared them side by side. Alas, the Bluex is just as lavender-pink as the Edishine. The Bluex is much much brighter however, probably at least twice as bright. Attempted to take a picture to post but even after fiddling with camera settings they were too washed out. I think both sets of bulbs are going back.

Works as advertised. Well made quality product. Deep orange color.
Insects are least attracted to red...... and red is least attractive to human beings. I tried the orange to get rid of the "Halloween" feeling of the pure red bulbs outside. Orange is less creepy and the insects are no more attracted to orange than red. Way less attracted than to yellow or white lights. Orange is a deep color tending towards the red end rather than they yellow orange spectrum.

Destroyed my whole fixture
I had the bulbs a few hours and they were complete rubbish. When I first put them in they were great. Good color. Good brightness. Then the flickered for a few seconds…and shorted out my whole fixture. Now I need to replace my outdoor spots. Very unhappy. This 20 something dollar light bulb is going to cost me a few hundred dollars when all is said and done.UPDATE: Seller reached out to me immediately with an offer to refund item. Still need to fix my fixtures...but at least the Seller immediately tried to do their best to rectify the situation. Would buy a different product from them.

As expected
I bought these for my outside light that shines on my horse pasture. White light effects horses' eyes tremendously and it takes them a long time to adjust back to darkness, rendering them semi-blind at night if exposed to bright white light. The red lights do not effect their vision or dilation; so if I have to see in the pasture at night, I can turn on my flood lights without blinding anyone.

Bright and red
Bought these for Christmas to install in the security spotlight fixtures. They are quite bright and light up the surrounding area. Cannot attest to the longevity of them but will only use during the holiday season. They look good and I recommend them.

Price isn’t worth the quality
The reviews seem to be about colours other than purple one I bought which is neither vibrant nor rich. It looks more like a very pale mauve. The purple has nowhere near the depth of red, green or blue bulbs I’ve bought. The bulb itself is exceptionally lightweight and its base seems to be made of really thin metal/foil which past experience worries me that it will separate with the slightest moisture that sits in it for awhile. Suggest you take some tuck tape and give a single wrap around the bulb and the holder to seal it up. These bulbs should fairly be sold for much less.

Nice and bright, perfect for outdoor display
I used these for my Halloween display in the yard. They were bright and withstood a couple rain storms the previous week no problem. I would definitely buy again.

Not purple.
Waste of time and money. These do not look remotely purple, they are a light light pink-ish white at best.
