I like being able to walk right up to the window to see the birds up close. The one way glass is a smoke finish. The feeder is near my front door and it makes me laugh when the birds are trying to decide if it’s safe to keep eating as I come and go. I mostly get small wood peckers. They were pecking at the plexi initially and it caused a small crack. They have it figured out now though.

Such a clever and fantastic feeder. Really lets the kids get up close with the birds and very well built with superb suction on the cups so no concerns at all with it falling off the window

This is a high priced feeder and the plastic is very thin. I have many and this one disappointed me. Its very small and no real perching except a thin plastic extension. Clever idea and I hate to pull down this rating down but I purchase many window and yard feeders and this one just does not meet the cut. Sorry Dorothy SmigaII am sorry, not only the most popular, insert does keep out large birds, the built in perch is designed for different footsies size (my opinion) drains great if rain, I really came 2 love and I had a return label. KITTEN LOVES TOO, drop in privacy, you know Birdie can't see insane kitty trying to eat him !We should wait before we review, it's fairer.

I got this for my cats to enjoy birds through the window, and a bit for me. The viewer and the tray work really well, and they got a lot of joy out of the birds landing that close. The suction cups are inconsistent, like most suction cups are, and when it falls (even on soil or grass), it's going to break along the tray holder - the thinnest bits of plastic. It's pretty easy to repair in those cases, but you'd hope for something designed to be outdoors to get a bit more durability.
