Old Travel Tray 1.0 (Dark Grey)

Purchased this for our 2 year old prior to a cross-country driving trip hoping to provide a surface for his activities and snacks in the car. It did not really work out... the tray didn't really sit level on the car seat and our son didn't really care for it being in his lap... he was continually trying to move/remove it, which sort of defeated the whole purpose of having it. Also, the strap which fastens the tray around the car seat to hold it in place is a little bit cumbersome/annoying to re-attach after every stop. There was a little bit of a chemical odor when we first removed it from the packaging, but I put it outside on the porch for a day and it was no longer noticeable. The build quality seems good, it may work great with other car seats and some toddlers, however, it did not work for us and ended up being stored in the trunk for most of the trip...

I wanted to love this, but it really needs some improvements. First, the buckle is on the right side, so when the car seat is behind the passenger side, you have to stand outside the car to install and remove. This has given me problems when my son has suddenly decided he wants it off him and I have to crawl over him and fight the buckle to get it off.My other issue is with the pockets and the elastic strap. They really are too small to hold anything and if I do get something into the pocket, my son struggles to get it out.Pros: the material is very durable and holds its shape. My son can play cars, color, etc. on the flat surface.

All I can say is WOW! My toddler will be thankful on long trips now.The surface of the tray is easy to clean and there haven’t been any issues with storing. I am beyond grateful for this, and my toddler is too! It’s made well and has been used daily for a year already. I highly recommend this to all the moms and dads and little ones out there. It’s a must have in the car.The only issue I have, personally, is that the side mesh pockets are a bit too small. It would be great if it were just a tad wider because I notice my son would constantly crams his snack packs in when he’s got his toys or coloring papers out and it just irritates him to a degree that there isn’t that ease due to lack of space.

I was trying to find a travel tray for my son when we go on an airplane next month. I read the reviews of this product and felt pretty mixed on if I should get it or not. I decided to try it and the second I opened it I noticed a horrible chemical smell. I aired it out for about a week with zero change in the smell. It was awful, and there was no way I would have my 19 month old sit with that on his lap during an entire flight. Luckily I could send it back for a refund, but now I'm back to square one trying to find a lap tray.

My son liked this a lot for our long trip! I liked that I didn't have to pick things up all the time and he got to play with multiple toys to occupy him. The pockets came in handy to keep things from sliding off. He liked the illustrations and pretended his dinosaurs were eating all the objects.I wish that it extended further back against the child's waist-- that the crescent that goes against them were deeper. This would keep things from dropping down beside them. I also wish it had a cushion on the bottom like some lap-desks have. This would keep it from tipping forwards or backwards and it would be sturdier for coloring.It also didn't come with any instructions, so I wasn't sure if we were supposed to wrap it around the child's back or the whole car seat.

Absolutely love this travel tray. I have been using it by attaching around my sons car seat and placing it on his lap and then securing the tray belt to keep it in place on his lap while we travel. It is soft underneath but very sturdy on top. The lip is perfect he can lean his iPad on it, the tray is huge he had 2 iPads, flash cards and a snack and still plenty of room. Very sturdy and easy to clean. He is 9 and on the autism spectrum, he is VERY picky about what touches him and doesn’t like change, and this tray was something new and he has been very happy using it from day 1!

I love this travel tray for my son! We just switched him to forward facing and this allows for him to keep toys/snacks on his “lap”. We have two different Graco seats, so it rests different on each, but it serves its purpose. The base is sturdy and holds it shape, and the strap easily goes around the back of the seat around the headrest.DMoose has AMAZING customer service - about two weeks after getting the product and using it every morning on the way to/from Daycare, one of the black plastic fasteners busted. I contacted the seller and they were quick to respond, apologize, request photos, and issue an ENTIRE replacement! They went above and beyond my expectations and held true to their product guarantee.I will definitely purchase another when our next child is born/old enough, as well as gifts for friends!

We love this product! It’s super sturdy and we can’t wait to put it to use. We love in a rural town and it take 2-3 hours to drive into the big city. It’s always a hassle trying to keep our 21 month entertained and it usually consists of her watching a tablet and me reading to her followed by lots of crying and bribing. I’m so thrilled that she has a station to keep her entertained. She recently received several puzzles and paint with water coloring books and this will be perfect for those activities! Yeah! Thank you for making this product!!Side note: There is a bit of a smell on the product - kind of like plastic but a little sharper. It totally doesn’t bother me in the least and I used a litttle Thieves cleaner on it and voila smell gone. Also, I wasn’t sure how to attach it to the seat but it gets wrapped around the child sitting in the seat so win there as well! I hope this was helpful!
