This is my second Haws watering can,not because i needed another but wanted a slightly smaller than my 2 gallon. My 2 gallon is made from metal and has lasted many years and still has many years left but i wanted a slightly smaller and lighter can.This watering can is made from a high quality thick plastic and the brass rose is as always of the highest quality. I would normally buy from the Haws website but i had credit in my account so purchased from amazon.If your after a watering can that will give years if not decades of service then Haws is the name you need to invest in,yes they are not cheap but in this day and age you get what you pay for and in my opinion you will not find better than Haws.I want to also mention the packing, it is well thought out and that can is packed in its own shaped box and then packed within another box, plus every part of the packing can be recycled including the strong paper tape used to seal the boxes. They also explain that with every purchase Haws plant a tree. Superb service and can. Thank you Haws and Amazon.

The first watering can I have bought that actually works as advertised. Does not create an annoying drip from the rose joint fitting. Roses are interchangeable and various types available as after market items. Maybe a little expensive but if it works then it is worth the expense. As long as it is looked after (keep stored in doors out of sun and frost) it should last for quite a few years.

Haws is the best manufacturer of watering cans and these lightweight ones are superb.

Love this watering can. Very sturdy and easy to handle. Easy to carry with one hand. Designed to pour with two which I find intuitive and have no desire to pour with one hand. I will only ever use the brass sprinkler spout. The other single hole spout has already been lost. I think I left it in the box thinking it was useless and by boyfriend tossed the whole thing into the recycling bin.

The rose is useful for watering small areas of lawn that I have patched.
