Doktor Zhivago (Russian Edition)

It is an excellent novel, very well written, moving and full of interesting characters.

The book I received was NOT the Russian language (original) version, but a Bulgarian translation of Zhivago's epic masterpiece! This, even though the link clearly states it's the "Russian Edition." Beware!

Amazing story and writing

It is rather hard to buy a good book in Russian on Amazon at such a low price, and, luckily, this is a rare exception. I am not going to review the novel itself here(since it is rather famous). However, this particular edition could be improved by some introductory article about the book or the author and comments would be nice, too.

El libro está bien, pero lo raro es que no tiene páginas, por lo cual no puedes saber cuántas has leído y cuántas quedan por leer...

I really like the book its a nice story but its very very VERY disappointing how there is no numbers on the pages. I kept on lossing my page with and without a bookmark.

J’ai acheté ce livre pour mon épouse. Pour lire le livre « Doktor Zhivago » de Boris Pasternak en russe, sa langue d’origine. Malheureusement, elle ne comprend pas ce qui est écrit. Elle est psychologue et parle couramment l'ukrainien et le russe. Pourtant, pas le russe de ce livre ! C’est probablement du ruthène (encore à vérifier). C’est un peu comme le latin chez nous. En union soviétique, ce livre a été autorisé depuis 1989. Alors, cette langue permet probablement d’éviter que le commun des mortels en Russie puisse lire le livre !Je vais l’emporter, lors de mon prochain voyage à l’est, pour peut-être trouver quelqu’un qui connait encore cette langue. Peut-être un pop (curé).
