SUNPOW Plastic Welder Tool Kit - Professional Plastic Welding Gun, Bumper Repair Portable Hot Staple

Bought this to repair my cracked bumper needed something cordless because I didn't want to remove the bumper nor do I have a garage so extension cord would need to be massive. Battery held up well which was my main concern. I probably used 20ish staples. Case is cheap but for the price I'm just glad it has one. Not sure how it stands up for personal use but I really have no complaints.

This thing actually works pretty good, I’m a heavy duty diesel mechanic in a fleet shop and on a slow day I used it on our shop scrap bin that’s falling apart. Not only is it holding up with these little wiggly pins, it’s stronger than it’s been since I started working here 😂 highly recommend at least one guy in a shop to have one of these. Now I’m looking forward to a cracked fender well so I can “weld” it back together.

I’m amazed at how well this works. It pays for itself the first time. Do it right and the repair is invisible and stronger than new.

Expected cheep thrash and was very surprised. Kit preformed well. The hand held itself worked amazingly. Came fully charged and did maby 100 stapls on various cracked bumper and fender pieces. 10/10 value

When my husband first ordered this, he thought it was a plastic welder. When it arrived, he was a little disappointed when he realized it wasn't the same product that he thought he was ordering. Instead, it is more of a plastic fuser. It's great for stitching or fusing two pieces of plastic together that are flat or at a slight angle. It melts a metal stitch, or staple like piece of metal, to fuse two pieces of plastic together. (The metal melts into the plastic and holds it together.) It doesn't melt the plastic together, it just holds it together with the metal staple. He's used it several times and really likes it. He's used it on a plastic lid that was cracked, and he used it on a plastic wheelbarrow with a crack. Although this didn't turn out to be the tool he thought he was ordering, he has found that it is still a tool worth having.

The fact that it was already charged in the box and it could be used on the go is honestly just perfect. It helped me keep a car sideskirt together from splitting and this honestly just saved the day. Would recommend to anyone who needs to keep plastics together.
