S'well Original Bottle Cap Stainless Steel Fits 9 ounces and 17 ounces Original Bottle Silver

Lost cap for stainless steel water bottle. Finally ordered this one and it fit just perfectly. Was worried I was going to have to throw water bottle away.

I had my Chinese bought unbranded S'well type 500 ML vacuum water bottles for many years. The seals were slowly deterioating, turning brownish with age and the ice seemed to melt faster as the years went by. The top was dented from falls as well. I looked around for many years everywhere. I live in Japan and then bingo there it was. Pricing in Japan is prohibitive so I bought 2 here since 1 in Japan cost the same as 2 shipped to Japan. Fits great, seals even better. Another surprising fact the old original top weighed 23 grams. The new top weighs 28 grams. Usally newer is made more cheaply in quality, not this one. Testing now to see how much longer the ice lasts. Update: significantly longer

It's a cap. It works great.It's easy to use. It doesn't smell. It's as durable as you would expect. Probably costs more than it should, but it's a cap.

I’ve made a discovery about lost items. What I’ve discovered is the best way to find something is to replace it. This is happens time and time again. Happily I found these replacements for my Swell bottles, and low and behold, I found my lost ones no surprise there. It’s not OK. It’s Swell.

Easy replacement

I dropped my S’well bottle and bent the cap so badly that it stopped sealing. It was a really old bottle but still worked perfectly, except the cap no longer sealed. I had little hope that a new cap would fix the problem but figured it was worth the shot. Much to my surprise, it sealed the bottle like new. I think it’s better than the cap that originally came with the bottle years ago. Thanks for keeping this bottle out of a landfill and in use.

Fits my old swell bottle and no leaks.

My first swell bottle I purchased 10 years ago. Finding a need to replace my original cap, this “new style 25oz” cap does not seem to work on the older bottles, it leaks. In short, it does not provide produce a tight leakproof seal.Bottom line, I purchased a new 25oz Swell bottle, this cap works perfectly on the new bottle, again not an older Swell bottle. Be careful….
