Not A complaint but ...
I am not complaining but for buyers' knowledge, the actual length of the light itself is 15 inches. This was a bummer to find out for me because I was looking for a light to cover the size of 2 of my betta breeding buckets which this doesn't. Again to be clear the light is great, I love the day-night timer and settings for dimming. Just know the length they mention is the light fixture and the witch of the wire in the pushed-in position combined not the size of the fixture itself.

Amazing light for the price!
Got it today 9/11/24 for my 55G tank. Easy to install and looks amazing. Hopefully it last long. I will give an update if it goes when it goes out. If I haven’t updated it, it means is still working.

Great when it worked
I purchased this aquarium light a little over 8 months ago. The timer function in white light mode was excellent. I really loved this unit. Until this morning. About the time it was supposed to transition to morning daylight, it shut off. No power to the unit and the little control piece was quite hot. It will no longer turn on. I'm incredibly disappointed. I'll be looking for something similar by a different manufacturer.

Better than expected
I ended up buying several of these because they just really work well they’re inexpensive and I can grow a lot of plants under them. Great price great product.

The media could not be loaded. The light is very nice will buy again!

Wow
I tried this light after going through 2 others. Water corroded the power of those 2 because the power cord was on the unit.I love that the cord is sealed and has an extension that sits out of the tank away from the main unit. They have the settings for dim and timer included in the cord. Holy crap I love this light. Definitely a steal at this price point.

Inoperable
Great bright light. Good price. Looks great, BUT - once my mode is switched from daylight to nightlight, I am unable to switch it back without unplugging the control unit and plugging it back in.
