Not a huge capacity but works really well

Pepper mill arrived already containing a few peppercorns. Has 4 grinder settings I being the finest and IIII being the coarsest. I was looking for a grinder that gave a coarsely ground pepper and this fits the bill perfectly. Item feels sturdy and seems well made. Easy to fill. I bought the grey mill and it looks very stylish in my kitchen. Now considering buying the matching salt grinder.

After years of buying medium-priced mills, I decided to pay a bit more and get a decent one. After much research on the internet, it seemed that the Peugeot were one of the best and most highly rated. Yes I thought they only made cars too!On first appearance the mill seems very high quality, it is heavier than the standard wood or clear plastic ones. The black shiny finish looks really classy too.The major difference I can see is that the grinder mechanism on the bottom is metal instead of the plastic ones which gradually decline in their efficiency so that you are continually trying to adjust the coarseness of the grind with the ball on the top.The coarseness is adjusted by twisting the base to 6 presets. Once set you shouldn't have to change it unless you want to adjust the coarseness.To fill, simply undo the metal ball on the top and fill, replace ball, done.It is impossible to give an accurate long-term review due to the fact that all mills start off working fine, it is after continual use that their performance declines. I am hoping that this one will not, after all Peugeot give a lifetime warranty on the grinder mechanism.I will probably buy the salt mill to match as they will look great on the dinner table.

I like the grinder, but unfortunately after only a few weeks of light use, the wooden ring that adjusts the fine/coarse grinding became loose and is not adjusting anything anymore. I don't know what broke inside, but the grinder is now useless.

Well made and adjustable from fine to course, hopefully it will last a long time.

Will produce way more pepper than most other gridners saves time and effort and great you can easily change size. Will not performance is starting to taper now after a year +

Pepper mills need to be tough. They need steel burrs to grind black peppercorns - and the central shaft needs to me made of steel too, otherwise after a year or so, they become rounded and stop working. Wasted a lot of money on them.This Peugeot mill costs a fraction more but actually is fit for purpose.

Much better made than a Peugeot car. Solid adjustable works well

These are the best pepper mills out there. Their grind selection makes it easy to get the perfect grind every time. I have two in my kitchen and one for my dining room.

Une vraie Peugeot, chère oui, mais top qualité et je l'ai pour des années. Le système qui permet de choisir instantanément la grosseur de la mouture est génial. Et que dire de la couleur! Tellement belle qu'elle trône en permanence sur la table.

I have the Peugeot Paris u'Select Pepper Mill in wood and thought I would like the salt mill to replace the supermarket one-time use mills. While I think it worked fine initially, the u'Select mechanism soon became stuck and turns only between a course 4 setting and a very course 5 setting. I can turn it as far as a 3 or 2.5 with a lot of strength. But turning the grinder mechanism is very tough and squeaks loudly (even at a 4 or 5 courseness setting). I've just submitted a warranty claim and will update this review once I've heard back.

Transmite durabilidade e qualidade. Não se compara a nenhuma versão anterior que já adquiri. A madeira usada não apresentou nenhum defeito ou lasca. Definitivamente recomendado.
