The cut to length of the belt works perfect. Please read.!!!Best practe!!!First fit the belt thru your slacks or jeans on your body, and cinch it thru the buckle. Do this without locking it, and until its where you like it without to loose or tight. Then slide it back out the buckle with the belt atill in your loops. Fold the end over alightly and view the trim marks on the belt backside.Find your mark, but do not cut it on your final mark, cut the belt on a looser mark and then try the fit. Walk this trim method back but always leave about 5 or 6 trim marks out from your perfect mark. Then lock the buckle tonyour eaxact fit mark.This will let you adjust for future waist and belly expansion if your stomach or waist expands an inch or two or so.Make sure your belt cinch does not cause a bunching of your slacks or jeans. Only shug for holding them up. This will also help with your shirt tucking to remain nice.

The quality of this belt is excellent. It’s easily trimmed to the best length for my waist size. The buckle design is great and works perfectly for how it was designed. I definitely recommend this product.

I purchased 2 of these belts for my husband. Great idea for belts. No holes in the belt too secure it. Easy to personalize the size for you.The buckle locks down on the belt to keep it secure. Nice colors on belt & buckle. Ease of wearing.

Traditional leather belts will normally fray at hole where you set the buckle prong. In my case it normally happens 6 months into almost daily use. With the ratchet belt, this does not happen. So the leather will last you a long while. The belt fit is also not constrained by 1 inch increments, the normal hole spacing on leather belts. You have 5 ridges per inch on the leather where the buckle’s ratchet system canlock on to. So, you almost have an infinite waist sizes in between the 6 inches of ridges placed on the leather belt. I m left handed. So, I set my belt thru left sided which put the release lever at the bottom side which is perfect for me. So the only suggestion to Chaoren is to make the belt buckles for left sided or right sided belt setting.

6 out of 5 stars. This belt deserves the highest praise. I’ve never given much thought to belts in general; one is as good as the next. I bought this one because I liked the price and the look of it. But it’s the functionality that has most impressed me. I bought it a little big so I could trim it down to the perfect size for me. There are markings on the inside that guide your cut. A sharp heavy duty pair of scissors did the job (make sure you cut straight across). The cut end then seats into the buckle so it’s hidden. The first time trying it on, I could tell I was going to love it. You feed the opposite end through the buckle until it’s the perfect fit. It functions like a zip tie with a quick release lever. Genius. Nothing out there compares in my opinion, especially for the price.

Good looking belt with unique adjustment

Bought this for every day use even when carrying it's super easy to adjust on the go. For the past several months I've used this daily and theirs no sign of any wear or tear yet.
