Well machined, fits and looks great!

What it is: Glossy finish carbon fiber headset top cap and steel star net for 1-1/8” fork steerer tubes. Includes stainless hex head cap screw.Why I like it: Thus is a great way to “add lightness” and style to your bike. The top cap is molded and machined to spec, and has a visible carbon weave with a glossy clear coating. This design has a deeper design to recess the stainless cap screw—your stem height and steerer tube length on your particular bike may require a spacer. Mine did not, and it fits well. The star nut works as designed—it is always good to have a spare, as they do corrode and can break. The only issue is with the packaging-everything was in the same bag, and the steel Star nut visibly marred the finished surface of the top cap.

It's an easy way to add a little pop of color to your bike. It was simple to swap out my old top cap and install this new one. I don't have any need for the new star nut right now, but if I get a new fork at some point it will be nice to have.
