It very thick, use on my pure black german Shepherd , leave a nice shine but the nice smell doesn’t last long.

Love this shampoo for my black poodle however the price tag is pretty hefty and so I have had to find an alternative brand which does the same job. Definitely darkens coat and removes unwanted orange/red pigments around mouth area

I like this product and I'm sure it makes my dog darker than if washed with an ordinary shampoo but as she goes swimming every week I think the chlorine fades her coat again, so a bit if a vicious circle really!

This shampoo leaves my silver poodle’s coat thick and luxurious with a beautiful shine. It makes my cream poodle whiter. Leaves your hands soft. Not drying. Nice fragrance. Not over powering.

I am a licenced professional groomer of many years. I have used everything. The Black Star shampoo is wonderful. Darkens dark coats following product instructions. Brightens also. That's one of my favorite things about it. My clients & I love the smell. This is a natural product which is all I use in my grooming shop.

Doesn't do much for my Poodle's coat. A good shampoo just doesn't help the color at all. Really not worth the price dye is better.

This product works very well, easy to mix and apply to my dogs. The results were very good, the fur felt very nice & clean and my Bernese Mountain Dogs coats looked so healthy afterwards. I liked that it is mixed with warm water, and I use the bottle as the applicator and it is easy to work into the fur and easy to rinse away. :)

Great shampoo both for dark and white dogs. White comes out as white as can be and black is shiny and dark. Very happy snd will order the large next time. Use this on my show dogs.
