These are great ice molds. A little tricky to fill but that’s mostly operator error.

Who doesn't love craft ice cubes in their drinks, am I right? This set comes with 4 molds that make the perfect size piece of ice. The molds snap together and there is a small hole at the top for filling with water. Using a small funnel I was able to pour water into the molds without making a mess. I did have a little trouble with one of the molds staying together while filling with water but after adjusting the position it was no longer leaking. They were placed into the freezer overnight and the next day ready for removal. The top of the mold was easily removed, but the bottom required a little more effort as I had to pull the sides away from the ice cube. The cubes look great, but the ice did have some cracks in it. I think next time I'll try placing these inside of a container to slow down the freezing process. This technique is supposed to yield clear ice. Overall I'm happy with these and will be using them again soon.

I prefer larger ice when icing coffee or anything else I don't want too diluted. I bought another style of sphere ice molds that was a poor design and never worked right, I always have 1/2 or 3/4 of the sphere and the water leaks out when transporting from the counter to the freezer. NOT this one though, first time using, perfect spheres and is easy to use! I would purchase it again.

I recently bought these for my husband, he has a love of Golf. He asked me to order him EXTRA large ice cube molds. Spheres that go in glasses but take much longer to melt than old fashion ice cubes. I had no idea this was even a thing! HAHA I went to Amazon and was overwhelmed with possibilities. From $5.00 to over $100.00 . I spent way to much times reading reviews. I decided to start low and go higher until I found what worked best.Tips on this item: Use spring water or 99% pure like through a Lifestraw, Berkey, Zero water etc. All available on Amazon too. That makes the ice cubes clear not smokey.I used a $1.00 plastic funnel to pour in but a turkey baster etc works tooDO NOT overfill, if you do, drain a little out, otherwise you will have a stem on your sphereI wrapped two rubber bands around my golf ball ice cube, making a X, it helps no air and keeps the shape, Before placing in your glass, run a second of cold water on it, makes the golf ball shineLast;y I kept in my freezer overnight. They remove perfectly and being soft silicone wash up in seconds.He liked them so much I bought a few more for his golf buddies. Great Christmas gifts.Also I bought them on sale for only $5.00 dollars each. Well worth it

These ice cube molds would make a great gift for a golfer. They are easy to fill and the golf ball shaped cubes are a perfect size. Run them under a little warm water and they pop right out. I've been keeping a container in my freezer with several of these and they are always a hit.

I have similar large cube and it works great, was looking at the design (golf ball) and hoping these would be similar. The packaging is very good and it does make a golf ball dimple pattern. The problem I am seeing is when the water freezes, it is very difficult to separate the two molds to release the cube. I have tried both a few times and the issue is consistent …at least that is my experience.

After a round of golf, it is great to enjoy a nice glass of bourbon. I pack my cooler with these ice balls and pull them out in the clubhouse. It is a big hit, so much so that everyone wants to order them! Perfect at home as well. Bourbon drinkers do not want ice melting and this shape seems to hold the ice longer. The shape and design are a big hit!

I gifted to a friend who is an avid golfer and loves to trick bourbon whiskey. He thought it was a really cool he tried it out but only filled water up on half side vs. Using the hole at the top to fill all the way up to make a round ball. I guess it wasn't that intuitive to him since it didn't come with instructions. The cubes were easy to remove and looked really cool. Like a golf ball.
