Faber-CastellPitt Graphite 9B Pure Pencil

These do not seem to be available in a harder lead such as 2h and 3h. That would be great for filling in background on a drawing much faster than is otherwise available with other pencils.

Pencil was received broken in half, even though the box was intact. I cannot imagine that this store would intentionally ship a broken item (?) in which case the item somehow broke due to shaking in transit and the packing material was inadequate. The pencil itself seems good and genuine otherwise.

these are prime pencils. I love my faber castell 9000 set but it only goes up to 8b and I wanted something with a little extra push. this 9b does just the trick, and surprisingly not a terrible sheen. Did I mention smooth? Oh they are so smooth, Unfortunately these are not sold at any local arts and craft stores making them worth the price for me.

Solidly made. I bought it to sharpen hand held sharpeners for adult coloring books. Tried it but it seemed to be a bit too large to really engage the cutter. I gave it to a friend with the hope that it will work for her.

I'm sure the pencil itself is fine but it arrived broken. Both pieces were in a plastic bag so it was not broken in shipping!

Super pencil, my son is in year 9 and has taken art, just what he needed for the darkest black on his panda, These pencils are also great if you want to sharpen up the blade on your pencil sharpener! Comes in a little protective sleeved tube, Which is actually handy to keep it stored in

Really lovely, creamy, graphite. I always find Faber Castell products to be great quality and this graphite stick hasn't disappointed. The graphite is a true 9B: very very soft with an excellent depth of colour. It's an absolute joy to draw with. You can sharpen the graphite in any standard sized sharpener, or with a penknife, if you want a sharper point. The graphite has a plasticised coating on the surface, so there is no transference to the skin while you're drawing.The item arrived in a small plastic tube with "bungs" at either end, which I was very impressed with, especially as this graphite is so very soft- I've been keeping it in its case for safety, but also because this offers a good way of identifying it in my sketching box! I feel that any risk of the graphite shattering in the post has been effectively avoided with this little plastic tube.

I love this pencil. And there is no waste either on the wooden caseing. Pure 100% graphite pencil. Will be buying again.I did have an issue with delivery. The postman must have sat on it and broke it in a few place but the seller replaced it very quickly. Very impressed. Will be back when mine has run out.

I am pleased with the pencil. Keeping me busy sketching during lockdown. It does seems a little bit on the expensive side for what it is though. It isn’t really dark black which is what I wanted but that might be my fault as not sure what to order to achieve a super black effect. The images are my first attempts at using the pencil.I have to add that my pencil originally arrived snapped in two, the packaging was in tact though. However, amazon replaced the product within 48 hours and the process for a replacement was Smooth

I'm using as an eyebrow pencil to match my grey hair. Perfect! Eyebrow pencils are too dark too much! This is ideal.... doesn't break, sharpens well and will probably last longer than me!!!! 😁
