This versatile thermometer is useful for various types of cooking. I do competition BBQ and cook often fro my family at home .8 am training my young son to check temps, and he was able to check the chicken temperature on the big BBQ pit. I've also used it for quick cook steaks at home to ensure the right cook temperature. One of my favorite features of this thermometer is the built in magnet. If you're like me, there is always a lot going on when you cook and the magnet function allows me to place the thermometer close and keep it nearby at all times!! Great product that I highly recommend!!

This thermometer has a substantial feel to it and an appearance to match. I like that the unit turns on and off with opening and closing of the temperature needle. The unit registers the temperature reading pretty much instantaneously. With attention to the instructions, the unit can be washed and doesn't need to be babied in the process. The magnet in the handle is a nice touch for conveniently storing on the refrigerator door.

This thermometer was recommended by Kent Rollins. I love his cooking channels. Turns out, the thermometer works well too. I programmed it to be safe. Did not need to be. Worked fine out the box. Highly recommend.

So nice to just pull the probe out and watch it work from which ever angle you hold it. Seems to be very accurate . Love it so far!

Very happy with how quickly you get a Tempature and my 40 years of cooking never had one this good. That's why I thought it was time I bought a new good one! I'm disappointed that less than 30 days (writing this 42 days after receiving) of using product, it became harder to open and this band is sticking out. Also, disappointed that the return time was the day before delivery! I would like a replacement and try again. I do love it! Giving a 4 due to no exchange or request for new one to be sent. I just got a lemon.
