Think Tank Parent Digital Holster

I am using this Thank Tank Digital Holster 30 V2 for carrying a Canon 100-400mm L IS USM Mk 2 lens mounted to a full frame EOS 5DS R with a third party Arca-Swiss compatible foot and with the lens hood deployed ready for use, by employing the build-in holster length expansion. While the case packs a rain coat, I also use the Think Tank Digital Holster inside a regular non-photographic rucksack to avoid drawing attention. The Think Tank Digital Holster is robust, gives considerable protection to the camera and lens it is packing. The Tank Digital Holster 30 V2 is versatile, represents good value for money and is a pleasure to use.

Really nice case, well designed and I really like the fact that a zoom or telephoto lens can be left in the camera within the case, for quick use. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and this is a professional quality bag. Not at all disappointed. Should provide many years of great service.

Note: I have bought an additional side bag which you see in my photos. The bag does NOT come with this, need to buy separately.I'm quite happy with this bag, here's my observations:Pros: - Slim no wasted space. If you just want a "jacket" for your camera this is it. - Additional bags can be mounted to this one. I got a "Flash Mob" and I like it - I think looks good, reasonable quality - Fits 5D3 + 1.4x + 70-200L very nicely with hood down, exactly what I wanted.Cons: - The shoulder strap narrow and not very comfortable, was expecting better for a bag of this price. I bought a separate strap, you get good ones for < £20 - the rain hood ripped slightly when I tested it... - While a reasonable quality not quite up to Lowepro standard [because of above]

Was a toss up between this and the lowepro version. I own bags by both brands and I’m sure both more than capable. Anyway this bag is the perfect with for my E-m1 plus 100-400 lens with or without the hood extended as the bag expands. There is ample storage for a spare battery or 2 memory cards and radial filter if desired. There is also the option to split the storage space in 2 and carry 2 smaller lenses. The build quality is fantastic as expected with Think Tank I couldn’t review the waterproof side of things but everything else it brill.

My Husband loves this item. It was received quickly in perfect condition. He is happy with the size, the different compartments and the overall convenience the bag gives him.

Trying to get a zoom case for a Nikon d500 with 500mm f5.6 PF. Trouble is not the length, but the width at the snout - just too narrow to take the lens hood. So there is nothing on the market that fits. Shame the dimensions given never include this vital element.

Now my favourite go-to case if I don't want to carry a lot of kit. Can carry any combination of body and lens that I own - even the longest thanks to the zippy extension. Well put together and some thoughtful touches like the built-in weaterproof rain snood. Nice product.

Brilliant, comfortable and spacious but not over baulky. Accommodates a 100/500 canon lens and R6 camera with the sun shield cap on.

Nothing to point out quality wise! Absolutely top notch! Only issue I find is that with the lower part extended (for lens with hood attached) I find that my 70-200 takes quite a bit of pushing in and pulling out with the hood extended!

If you are looking for a bag to carry a Sony A7 with the FE 200-600mm lens (SEL200600G) then look no further! The Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 30 v 2.0, does the job and then some!My Sony A7r iv and 200-600mm lens fit perfectly with the hood and the foot, and a hand strap and mount on the camera. The hood needs to be reversed and the foot needs to be indexed in front of the camera handle. Other note is the rubber lip on the hood makes removal somewhat sticky which can be resolved by putting a cloth over the hood before it is inserted. I used a pocket square from my nearby suit jacket, but a handkerchief or anything similarly thin should do the trick, or just leave the hood at home.The myrad of mounting points that Think Tank outfits this bag with provides for many different carrying options. I was able to back-sling this bag with a monopod attached during a recent outing and found it to be very manageable. Additionally, many pockets and straps for accessories are included for plenty of extra storage for batteries, lens covers, SD cards and other small items.Quality seems top notch. The zippers, hardware, and materials were scrutinized and I could not find anything to fault. Padding is reasonable and affords good protection. It seems perfect for the application, but is by no means drop-proof.A rain cover is provided as well, though for portability I tend to leave rain covers at home and instead rely on a couple coats of camp dry (https://www.amazon.com/KIWI-Camp-Heavy-Water-Repellent/dp/B000HJ7CLY/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=camp+dry&qid=1600199279&sr=8-11) don't get it near your optics though! :-) The only reason I mention this is that the fit is very awkward on this specific bag if you leave the rain cover in the pocket it comes in. Move it to the other pocket (or leave it at home) and the fit with this specific lens is much nicer.As a bonus this case works well for the FE 70-200mm (SEL70200GM) as well! Expanded it can hold the SEL70200GM with the hood mounted for quick shooting, or the hood can be reversed (or removed) and fits in the bag in its retracted state. I imagine any lens in this size range such as the FE 100-400mm (SEL100400GM) would also work well with this bag.If you have a Sony A7 (ILCE-7RM3, ILCE-7M3, ILCE7RM4, etc.), and any sort of tele lens, the Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 30 v 2.0 is a great bag for the job!

Ich bin von der Fototasche total begeistert. Meine Nikon d500 passt mit 70-200 f4 Objektiv inkl.Sonnenblende komplett rein. Sehr gute Verarbeitung und die Lieferung erfolgte scneller als angekündigt. Verpackung war lobenswert und sicher, kein unnötiger großer Karton. Ich kann das Produkt ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen!
