This YE LOCK branded lock worked perfectly fine for about a month. Fingerprint recognition was extremely accurate and worked every time, and the door knob as a whole worked great. One day I went to go use the door and the door knob was completely completely dead. I thought it was a little strange that the batteries were completely depleted in one month since a buddy of mine has the same lock and he still going strong after six months as a front door lock. I swapped out the batteries for four fresh ones, and the lock immediately flashes and beeps six times and then dies again. Claim that they have a 12 month manufacturer warranty, but there’s no way to get in touch with them. I tried contacting Amazon support, but they said that the product is outside of its return and support date (purchased Sepember 2023, installed November 2023 and product failed December 2023). I won’t be buying these again.

I am very impressed with how easy this is to program compared to others I have had. Others have long strings of numbers and symbol you have to type before you put in the code, this one is short and sweet. Even the finger print is easy to do. We did notice the knob was very stiff at first but I think it will loosen with use. Only thing I think I would suggest is instead of such a straight case have it more rounded like a normal knob to make it easier to turn. So far I would recommend this knob to others.

Great knob except after installed about a month it quit working! Condensation builds up inside the knob from outside and stops working. Left it dry out for about a week and use 100% silicone to seal it up and out the batteries back in and it’s working great now!
