Lindsay Brin's Boot Camp 2 DVD with Moms Into Fitness

Effective and Motivating
Having had 6 kids, and my fair share of diastasis recti I can’t recommend Lindsay Brin enough. I’ve always been fit and always exercised 5 days a week but after my third pregnancy with twins I developed severe diastasis recti. My doctor told me only major surgery would fix it. I wasn’t happy with that answer did my research and found Lindsay. Through her videos and training I’ve been able to correct my 4 finger width diastasis recti to a 1 finger width and hopefully correct it completely. I had no idea until Lindsay that all the ab work I was doing was causing more harm than good, so I HIGHLY recommend her for any poor sole out there with diastasis recti. My favorite dvd of Lindsay’s would definitely be her 30 Day Core... LOVE IT! This boot camp comes in second. I was super annoyed with her Post Natal Slimdown... doesn’t seem nearly as effective and the ‘old school’ dvd format is just annoying in and of itself. While effective, and I’ve seen results with this boot camp dvd the only thing that irritates me is some of her comments, for example; “Me, however, I workout for a living so....” that statement one could rub someone the wrong way. Her grammar is annoying and after 8 weeks I’m basically done with this dvd... but she’s not reading a script she is just improvising so I can’t give her too much crap. The best thing with Lindsay is her motivation. Too many women buy into the notion that once you’ve had kids your body is what it is... NOT TRUE... I love that Lindsay constantly reminds me that you can actually get in better shape after having a baby, and after each baby that’s all I need is that daily motivation.

I love Lindsay's post-natal workout DVDs
I love Lindsay's post-natal workout DVDs. She makes them very accessible for new moms - - I can get a workout in even if I only have 10 minutes, but can combine workouts for when I magically have more than 10 minutes. The exercises are enjoyable and effective - Lindsay really seems to know a lot about getting your fitness back after pregnancy while you have a little one. I gained 50 pounds during my pregnancy and had a 4 finger wide abdominal separation - - 8 months post-partum and I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight and my separation is barely 1 finger wide.I have used her Boot Camp 1 & 2 and PostNatal Slimdown.

Very doable with great results!
I absolutely *adored* this DVD. I know it's one of her older ones, but I faithfully did the 8 week program, and got great results. She has such a bubbly attitude and is so positive. I loved how quick the cardio and toning was. I literally snuck it in sometimes before bedtime! My results are based on doing her 8 week program, eating well, and also adding in extra cardio every day, even on rest days. My pants are looser, my big roll on my belly has disappeared when I bend over, my belly is flatter, I actually see some ab lines coming through, and I overall look slimmer, like someone let the air out of me. I will always be a Lindsay Brin fan. She gets the mom life, and makes me feel like I CAN get into shape after having kids! I ordered her 30 day core, and already LOVE it.

A great addition to an already established routine.
My wife loves this dvd and it is helping produce some great results.with a healthy diet and cardio this workout is helping tone the muscles back into place after having 4 children.she went from a size 14 to an 8 over two years without the dvd and made a loss in the last two months from an 8 to 4.this workout is a great addition to already made healthy choices. She runs and eats very purposefully and does these exercisesto help build and maintain muscle definition and it works.

Love love love her
I have always hated working out, I have never had to lose weight and have always been naturally thin, But after having my first baby, I couldn't stand to see pictures of myself with my new baby because of the weight I gained. After about 6 months, and realizing that I was not going to be one of those moms that just bounced back without having to do anything, I knew I needed to get my big butt in gear. I originally bought her pregnancy fitness collection which I never used, but it came with a post natal bootcamp. I tried that first and loved it so much I bought the boot camp 2 and have now moved up to the Pretty Fierce collection. Using Lindsay's videos and trying to watch what I ate (though not alot, I just didn't pig out), I lost the 30+ lbs by the time my baby turned 1! This is not like one of those hard core boot camp, sweaty guys in an industrial looking building like you are some marine DVD. It's a bunch of moms that are encouraging you and are pushing through it just like you. Now don't get me wrong, you will be sweaty and working your butt off like those other DVD's but without all the extra hype. I actually have begun to enjoy working out for once in my life and my daughter is so used to seeing Lindsay and hearing her voice now, that actually gets so excited when I put on her DVD's!! I highly recommend to all moms out there!

I think you had to have been pretty fit before being pregnant to keep up with her
Lindsay gives it to you straight, and you're in and out fast. Unfortunately, I think you had to have been pretty fit before being pregnant to keep up with her. The cardio sections are a killer, but love the strength sections. the preset workout menu is very nice

Addresses Diastasis Recti.
I love that this addresses diastasis recti (and shows you how to find out if you have it or not on the first track!). I am not aware of another workout DVD that addresses this. I think this is easy enough for beginners and hard enough for those looking for a good workout. It's geared toward post-pregnancy Moms.I do cardio for 30 minutes before doing this. You can do one or more each day if you want. I think each track is about 10 minutes long.

She is spunky and keeps you going with a great attitude! I've enjoyed working out with her
She is spunky and keeps you going with a great attitude!I've enjoyed working out with her! And her voice isn't annoying! I know that may sound horrible, but sometimes there's that one persons voice that rubs the wrong way. She is great!

worth the money
This is day 2 and I really like it. I have broke out in a sweat and feel actually refreshed. I love how honest lindsay is about "mom" issues such as bladder control especially with jumping activities. That to me is a real issue that some women face.

It really works!
I bought this video after the birth of my second son admittedly skeptical that I would see results. However, I needed help losing the weight and getting my body back and didn't want to invest money in an expensive gym membership. I followed the 8-week program, having no real prior exercise experience. Now, about to begin week 8 I am thrilled with the results. I feel better, have more energy, enjoy the exercises, and can fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes. The video is fairly easy to follow but I do recommend watching the video segment BEFORE you attempt it for the first time to determine what equipment you will need and to familiarize yourself with the exercises. (Equipment required is 2 sets of weights, an exercise mat, towel, paper plate/towel). The exercises are performed by three ladies each representing a different difficulty level so if a particular exercise is too difficult there is always an easier alternative. You also have the option of building your own work out from a variety of exercises concentrating on the core, cardio, and mixture of cardio and toning. There is also an accompanying website that helps answer questions about diet and exercise. The only downside I see to this video is the uncertainty with how frequently certain exercises should be done to obtain maximum effectiveness.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who's looking to get their pre-pregnancy body back.
