GMB144-2060 OE Replacement Water Pump with Gasket

I had hoped that the pump would last a little longer than it did. After a pump swap, together with a cross over pipe replacement was finished, the coolant leaked stopped as had hoped, but a little over a year later, we were losing coolant again, this time with a whine. Replaced the pump with another brand, kept everything else the same, the leaked stopped, the whine is gone. Can only conclude that the GMB was the failure.

This water pump came nicely packaged and came with new bolts and the required gaskets. Installation was straight forward and has 100% no leaks. Before replacing the pump make sure to check the plastic tubes behind the pump for leaks, as this is most likely were the leak is coming from. My factory pump was not actually not leaking but I replaced it anyway for good measure. The plastic Y pipe behind the water pump had a small crack and that is were my leak was coming from. FYI this leak is almost impossible to see without removing the water pump and supercharger.

I ordered a replacement water pump and it leaked from the small return line hole and didn't hold or seal the return tube. I've tried to contact Amazon to receive a copy of the warranty paperwork, in order to try and get the water pump replaced. I'm not looking for a refund, just a replacement part. I followed the instructions on the Amazon site and sent an e-mail with all information and a copy of the purchase receipt but haven't heard anything from Amazon!! The warranty period will be running out soon if I don't get help with this product.Thank you,

I had a mechanic put in that water pump and it did not work. Waste of time and money. Make sure you buy it somewhere that has quick return policy. I purchased my other one from Napa and it came in the same day. Avoid buying it from amazon since it makes it harder to return it after 30 days.

Replaced the original water pump on my 2013 Land Rover LR4, which is commonly needed for that model. Part seems well manufactured and has performed perfectly in the 3 months since installing.

I put this in and less than a month later it went out again! Took it to a mechanic for Land Rovers and he said he was surprised it lasted that long. He said it was junk. Go to a Land Rover dealer because this will cost you more in the end. These are not made for Land Rover. I promise you it is worth getting one from the actual dealer or going to a Land Rover mechanic.
