Althought I don't have this particular book, I do have some of Laura Ingalls Wilders Picture Books, and they are all very well illustrated, with excellent pictures of Laura and their family, their counsins, aunts, uncles ect, and their many outings around and about the Big Woods of Wiscinson. Also the writing in the stories, is excellent too! Perfect for young children, this will capture their interest when they are not yet quite ready to read the big book of Little house in the Big Woods, and all the rest of the Laura stories (the big book does not have as many pictures, and this will capture their interest while also starting them on the Laura stores!). (Also an excellent way to start to get them introduced to Laura, and her family. Recommend for young children of 5-8, or any age!
