It's supposed to be solar power, That means you charge it from the sun, I tried it, It charges very little. It is also supposed to be a bug zapper, Is zap snaps little fruit bugs, that's about it! Don't waste your money!

Kills bugs all night long. I love it I think is super powerful don’t accidentally bump into it and get zapped.

Solar or recharge with cord
The electric we ordered seemed to have more power, they zapped many more bugs. These are good if no power readily available.

I recommend this product it works good it attracts flys and gets rid of them easy to use the light works great too.

Too weak
I guess this worked for some people for catching flies, but I wanted it for mosquitoes. The mosquitoes buzzed right by it. It captured a miserably small amount of about 3 baby mosquitoes and a lot of moths :/. In comparison, my plug-in zapper captured about 30 in the same time that I had this one on.
