Easy to use
So I had one just like this in my office but in boring black and grey. Wanted to cheer things up a bit so I purchased this white one and a pink tape dispenser to match my pink and white scissors. I love how easy it is to use without a whole lot of effort. We go through a lot of paper packets for our month safety meetings and this saves my hands!

BROKE IN UNDER 3 MONTHS!
So, I purchased this myself to use at work. It completely stopped pushing staples forward after only around three months. I submitted a warranty claim to the manufacturer and after waiting around six or eight weeks with NO RESPONSE at all, I contacted them AGAIN and finally received a reply. The manufacturer's reply was that they didn't have that stapler available for a few months so I would have to wait for a new stapler. I was understandably upset; and unsatisfied, being that it had already been around 2 to 2 1/2 months. I responded to them stating that I wasn't satisfied with that resolution and that I thought that they should be able to replace the stapler sooner with a comparable model (or better model). They never responded, but around two or two and a half weeks later, I received a new stapler. The same model, just in black (which works better for me anyways). Finally I had a stapler at my desk again. Now, around three months later again, the stapler is beginning to have issues with pushing the staples forward when it is low on staples (10-20 remaining). So, I guess thats where this ended up. I am dissatisfied with this one particular PaperPro stapler model.I have had many PaperPro brand staplers in the past and have always been satisfied, I think there is some kind of issue with this particular model.I even have the little, tiny portable "mini" stapler and I LOVE IT! I would recommend that over this model any day of the week, plus it costs 1/3 of the money.

POOR Packaging
This stapler does not work as advertised because of the poor packaging. It was damaged in transit; however, I chose to keep it. While it does staple papers, it is not a one-finger easy stapler to use because of the damage.

Awesome!
I bought three of these for the restaurant that I work in.... Total Life Saver! The old ones would get jammed and be the most! These are easy I did have to look up how to load the staples just cause its different than the old ones, but I guess that's why these are awesome and haven't jammed on us in over a month!

Excellent stapler for the home or office!
I purchased this product to replace a stapler that had stopped working. I recently purchased an inexpensive standard l stapler from Walmart and it has broke in less than 2 weeks of usage. I decided to upgrade and purchase a low resistance stapler for the additional cost. This stapler has worked flawlessly. We mostly use this stapler for 7-10 page contracts at my office and it is easy to use and very reliable. No more jammed up or broken staplers. If you use a stapler on a regular basis I would recommend this product as it both durable and reliable. As with most things, you do get what you pay for. This product may cost a little more than a standard stapler but is well worth the investment.

Cannot believe this is a Bostitch product!!
I bought this stapler based on the fact that I have owned a Bostitch stapler for about 40 years and it is just now starting to show signs of wear, but still functions very well. I was somewhat taken aback when I opened the box and found it had considerable plastic and rubber. You had to look on the outside of the box to find the diagramed instructions as to how to load the staples but not where the staples are stored. When the stapler was opened so that it was now flat, the spring mechanism that holds the staples properly in place, i.e. snug to the front of the chamber, released and had to be secured back into its notches that hold it in place -- or is SUPPOSED TO. This is the major failing of this stapler -- if you are using it to staple things onto a bulletin board for example, I do not think that the mechanism will stay in place and may drop out causing a bit of a mess. SECOND, the stapler I received would not staple papers very well and stopped working altogether. After repeated tries, I discovered that when the stapler was closed back up again, it RELEASED the spring mechanism so that the staples were no longer in contact with the front of the chamber therefore NO amount of pressing would make the stapler work as no staple was in position to be available!! This was chosen to be a "best buy" by Amazon so I ordered it on the strength of their recommendation and the fact that it was a Bostitch. But then I did something very uncharacteristic of me -- I ignored the words of advice by prior purchasers who found and reported the very same problems!! I always read what others have discovered about my potential purchase and this one time I chose to ignore their advice -- something I will definitely not do again in the future. Fortunately, Amazon has a very generous return policy but I passed on the kind offer they made to exchange the stapler for and identical one as I will try a different one ("Once bitten. twice shy!" thought process).

As staplers go, it's pretty great
Pros: I've only used this stapler for a couple of weeks, and for relatively light stapling (2 to 15 sheets), but it works nearly effortlessly and decisively. No jams. Easy to load. Staples perfectly curled back into the paper with no dangerously protruding points. Everything you'd want in a stapler.Cons: It seems to be unwilling to staple if there's another staple close to were you're stapling; moving over a little so that you're just stapling paper prevents this from happening. One other thing to note: if you work in a ruthlessly quiet office or if you're trying to staple in a quiet, single-room apartment while your spouse is asleep, the loud, declarative stapling sound might be a little problematic for those in close vicinity.Overall: Notwithstanding the weird issue with not stapling over/near other staples, I'm as satisfied with this purchase as anyone can be with the purchase of a stapler. While it doesn't fulfill every social/emotional/psychological/spiritual need and longing in my life, it does certainly fulfill those needs that can be fulfilled by a stapler. Consequently, I recommend this as great value for the money.

Would buy again, but only if I couldn’t find a better one
Great stapler for the price all in all.Pro’s:1. Punches through over 20 sheets easily (once got it to staple 30 sheets)2. Feels nice and heavy3. Great for desktop use4. Very easy to staple - same amount of pressure as flushing a toiletCon’s:1. Not really suited for in hand use2. When opening up to use for tacking, the staple cartridge ejects due to its design. You’ll have to remember to catch it and lock it back in place.3. No instructions on how to load staples - May take a minute before you figure it out.

Good enough
Not a high end stapler but good enough for home or light office use. A little confusing at first on how to load the staples as most staplers i have used in the past you put the staples on the track in side but when you open it up the track slides out of the way. Just lay the staples on the inside when open and the track will slide over them when you push the track back in.

This stapler never worked
This stapler never worked either because there is a broken or a missing part. There is nothing in the stapler which holds the staples in place so I can staple anything. The staples slide back and don’t stay at the end of the stapler. Other staplers I have used have a spring which keeps the staples in place. I don’t know if this is a design flaw or this stapler was sent to me already broken. I missed the return date so this is garbage. Unfortunately I bought two packages of Bostitch staples too. Even though I missed the return date, the seller should exchange this stapler and send me one which actually works.
