EtniesMen's Fader Skateboarding Shoe

Etnies actually fit my wide feet, honestly thought they would only fit in airwalks, but etnies work great, and look great

Having just been bitterly disappointed with the new Etnies Fader re-shape (much slimmer and lo-cut, minus protective padding and fat tongue), thought I'd review my shoe from a year or so ago. This is what Etnies should be like - chunky, comfortable and stylish whether you're skating or walking. Bring back the old Fader please Etnies - or you've lost one happy customer for life!

Build quality seems to be very good on these. Very comfortable, although maybe a tiny bit heavy. Lots of supporting padding and good quality leather. Looks pretty good too.

size was too small so sent back

I've been wearing Faders for many years now, in fact for probably ten years I've always had at least one pair in decent condition.They are extremely comfortable, however the first couple of days in this pair was quite unpleasant, as part of the tongue on the left hand shoe was poorly stitched at the bottom, and rubbed on my feet constantly.Not too bad now it's worn down a bit, but still noticeable.

I have bought Vans for years now , but they seem hard to find In the style I like . I thought I'd try these Etnies as they looked good . In the past I have had to buy Vans a size up from my normal size as they always seem too small . These are not as bad but still had to order 7 1/2 instead of a 7 . So long as you remember that then they are as comfortable and good looking as Vans IMO . I bought another pair because I liked them so much .

Great pair of trainers, appear to be better quality than previous trainers of a different brand I've purchased. Would buy again and arrived earlier than expected

Shoes were good but laces arrived frayed. Wouldn't buy again.

I needed a 10 for my husband but they were out so I got a 9½ and they were a little snug, so I had to return for a completely different color which was $40 bucks more. These shoes were great for the price, but the only problem they were sold out of the size I needed. Quality and comfort are always great in Etnies and DC's. Been wearing them since I was 18 and still were them 19 years later. I have never skated but they are just too comfy not to wear. I especially love the huge tounge with the stretchy strap; really don't even need laces or tied tight bc the tongue holds your foot down. The laces are just for looks for me as I lace mine in so many different ways and styles like I did in the 2000's. This goes for any etnies and DC brand. Just make sure you buy the wide and thick tounge. And if they don't come with thick laces make sure to buy some, bc skater shoes look so much better with wide/thick laces; not the small/slender laces.

Great quality

Shoes came in original box and the only complaint is I never got the sticker that usually comes in the box with them
