Excellent!
It’s such a pleasure to write an excellent review on an expensive and awesome product. This product is well made, and exactly as described. I’m considering buying another one. I purchased the 36 inch version (in cherry stained oak) so it could fit in a 37 inch space in my bedroom. It’s filled with blankets and duvets. I’m considering purchasing the largest one for more of my “crap” that I never use but don’t want to discard. It came very well packaged - boxed inside a box with significant styrofoam padding. It arrive only a few days later. My only complaint is the styrofoam made a mess as I unpacked it.

Solidly built, great value
This is a rare product that is of excellent quality and well worth the price. Rarely does anything rate this well with 92% 5-star ratings when I ordered this product. I confirm that the ratings do justice due to the quality of the product. It comes fully assembled and is very well packaged for shipment. There is little chance for damage during transport. The construction is very solid, made of solid natural wood with quality hinges. There are well-placed hand holes for moving. Very importantly, the color is exactly as indicated in the pictures. The chest arrived earlier than the promised delivery date, with total shipping time being 3 days. While there are both lower and higher priced chests of the same size, I suggest that you spring for this item over any lower priced chest, if that is at all possible. You will not be disappointed!

Solid built
Real wood, you can smell the wood and stain as soon as you open the packaging. No scratches or damage and feels really solid. I'm 200lbs and can sit on this without much concern.

Poor hinge position
I was disappointed in the surface mounted hinge connecting the top to the storage unit poor design the hinges should have been edge mounted so you can only see the pin

Beautiful and well made
Beautiful furniture made to pass down through the ages. Lined in cedar- which is great, since our cabin gets visits from a multitude of pests (of both human and insect species). A lot of storage space; nice “soft close” hinges.

My wife and I have been shopping for a blanket chest for our living room for about 3 months. Finally pulled the trigger on this item and it does not disappoint!The item was also very carefully packaged so that it arrived in pristine condition.Highly recommended!

Quality built
I finally received it. Yes it took awhile so be patient. It’s worth it!! Shipping label was created but not shipped according to fed ex. Business that builds them was behind orders. Communication was great when I voiced my concern. It’s a beautiful blanket chest, and again, definitely worth the wait.
