Durable and cheap
I incorporate these with live fire practice to help with recoil anticipation. Works well.

We're a bit long for my Uberti Dalton
They work just fine. I had to sand down the back end of these a bit, they were dragging on the frame. After that, no problems at all and work as advertised.

Good build quality, great training tool
I'd heard that snap caps were good if you were dry firing a lot, so I picked these up and was NOT disappointed. I probably dry fired a minimum of several hundred times, possibly even thousands of times with just a single pack of these, and I honestly can't tell one snap cap from the other. They all look like new and barely touched.

Try it good value
These are great for their intended use. May rub some at first time usage.

Useful and well--made tools
There seem to be varying opinions on the need for snap caps. At this price point, I thought they were worth it just for the ability to safely confirm firing pin and ejector mechanism operations. The internal spring mechanism on the fake primer is a nice touch, and the items feel well-made and likely to last.

Must Have
As a gun enthusiast who values proper firearm maintenance, I recently added the Tipton Pistol Snap Caps to my collection of shooting accessories, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed by their quality and performance. The Tipton Pistol Snap Caps are designed to mimic the size, weight, and shape of real ammunition, making them an essential tool for safely testing and practicing various functions of your pistol without the need for live rounds. This not only helps prevent potential damage to your firearm but also ensures a safer experience during dry firing and function testing.

Exactly as Expected
Just ran these through a new firearm purchase. They work exactly as they should. Not one misfeed or failure to eject. I liked them so much I ordered another.Pros- Look and feel, not too light or heavy, easy to distinguish from regular ammo, jam resistantCons- none yetUnknowns- not sure how long they’ll last as I dry fire practice a lot. Only ran them through about five times, seems okay so far with durability; again, part plastic so not sure how long it’ll last but so far, so goodTime will tell how much value these have compared to pricing but as of today I’m a pretty happy customer.

Very well made, and a good idea to use
These caps have a spring loaded centre pin that is there to prevent damage to firing pins. They are great caps and help with practice a lot.Note that you should always have a snap cap in the chamber any time you are dry firing (some exceptions depending on the firing pin design).
