Q: Is it machine washable?

Maybe washable. Mine had the lace tensioner break on one shoe and the loop at the heal is small. Good luck using it to pull the shoe on. They do look nice.

There are lace up but you can slip them on and off.

Q: I am on my feet for 12 hours a day will these shoes hold up?

i really can't answer that question as i only wear these shoes for casual evening wear out and about town. I will say my friend had to borrow them one day when he showed up at the golf course with only his flip flops. I loaned him these and they held up. He's 6'2" 230 lbs. Hope that helps. These are extremely comfortable shoes.
