Madellena Hair Chalk - Temporary Hair Color for Girls, Ideal Gifts for Kids and Hair Accessories

This was fun for my daughter. She always says she wants to dye her hair so this let her have fun with it

Got these as a gift for my girls. They were 8 and 10 when I purchased them. They loved them when we first got them and enjoyed using them on the weekends as hair color is not allowed at their school. Most colors washed out easily. A few of the lighter colors did not show up in my oldest Red hair. But my youngest had blonde hair and all of the colors showed up great! I would reccomend for anyone wanting to do temporary colors. Would be fun for a birthday party also.

If you’ve used hair “chalk” before you know it’s more like a wax consistency, so this is the same. Some colors are brighter than others, on darker hair, as to be expected. I did spend a good half hour trying to make the colors as visible as possible, the results were as you see in the pictures. Top of head was easy, the ends were harder as it doesn’t “stick” the same as with flattened hair. Top of head was consistency of sticky hair gel residue, but bottom hair was lighter. Should have put hair in the style we wanted before applying because once in hair is not easy to move around. Overall did what we wanted it to do and was easy to wash out with just a water rinse. We will use again.

Love how creamy the chalk is. It provides good coverage even on darker hair. I let my daughters use this on their dolls and it comes off fairly easily with warm water and hand soap. Unfortunately because it is so creamy of you run your hand through your hair or lay down on a pillow some of the coloring does run off. I had to wash a pillowcase twice just to get it all out. If it does get on clothing I recommend spot treating it right away before throwing it in the washer.

My daughter has brown hair and it doesn't show up at all in her hair, my niece has fine blonde hair and seems to only work in her hair

The media could not be loaded.  Its a great product for the price its kid friendly easy to remove something fun to do with the kid maybe for a sleep over or birthday party even using it for Halloween would be good does not stain your skin or clothes so overall i would give a 10 on This product if i could now me and my nieces can enjoy this

My boys have light colored hair, and these work great! Dont transfer, and comes out in one wash.

I gave this to my niece for Christmas - She freaked out!!!!She insisted on getting her hair damp and using the chalk immediately. She looked adorable.I didn't rate "easy to clean." The color didn't bleed onto her dress, which was a huge plus. But I wasn't there when her Mom tried to wash it out, so I don't know.
