Eva Solo Knife Stand, Black

I had seen one of these knife blocks at a friend's house and was extremely impressed. It can take a large number of knives all in separate pockets. I have about 20, in mine. No knife touches another so there is no danger of the sharp edges touching. The knife dividers can be removed to wash or clean. The outside is in smart polished aluminium and the dividers are black special rigid plastic of some sort. I am delighted with it. There is no disguising that fact thatit is a very expensive object.But as far as I am concerned it is well worth the price( as it does the work of 2or 3 indididual blocks

I knew what I was buying a friend has one. Great design will hold loads of different knives and that's what I wanted. A bit expensive but friend has had hers for years

Such an esthetically beautiful product which works so well. I love that you can stick any kitchen utensil in it. Makes sense. Also I have wider Chinese kitchen knives which fit too. (not the widest, and I don't expect a Western product to cater to traditional Chinese knives) . A well made product. Would strongly recommend. Yes, it is quite expensive, but there is nothing similar. Hate those knife blocks only for specific knives.

Brilliant product. I hesitated because of the price and decided to try it after reading the other reviews. It's well worth the money, takes loads of knives, scissors too, it's very stable and takes little space. It would be easy to clean as you can just take the entire insert out. I recommend it highly.

This is a great piece of design; IMHO it's up there with the Alessi lemon squeezer and the Microplane grater in the world of well thought out kitchen kit. It does a great job of storing knives with maximum flexibility; it's allowed the contents of two tatty wooden blocks to be safely consolidated into one sleek, sexy receptacle. Trouble is that my collection of knives now look a bit old and worn-out :- [

I had been looking for a knife stand for ages. this one is great. I put 4* rather than 5 because it's not as pretty as I had hoped and it's a bit bulkier than I expected. That said, it fits quite a few knives, the inserts are washable and this stand is more practical than many out there. I would recommend this product.

Great design, simple and very practical. Space saving and good clean lines. A tad expensive but worth it! Well made and very stable.
