HUNTER Women's Wellington Boots Boat Shoe, 8

I bought these boots for a last minute trip to Seattle and I’m so glad I did. I’ve had cheaper rain boots that have given me blisters and are way too tight around my legs and was nervous about these. They are tight to get on but did not hurt my ankles at all while walking. I wear an 8 1/2 typically but these only come in whole sizes so I got a 9 and they were slightly big so I just wore wool socks with another pair of ankle socks to fill up the shoe and they worked great for the trip. They kept my feet warm and dry and were not difficult to walk outside all day in. I also love how they look on! I’m 5’ 5” and have muscular legs that don’t always fit in rain boots and these were not too tight like I feared. They were also the perfect height for rainy days in the city.

I was worried after I purchased these boots based on past product reviews. I've wanted a pair of Hunter boots for years so I was disappointed to hear that so many people had issues with comfort. While these are not the most comfortable shoe/boot I've ever worn, they are sturdy and strong and will protect my feet in all elements. They fit tight, as others have mentioned; however, I've been wearing them all day with fairly thick socks and there is no way that they would cause my ankles to be bruised or my shins to bleed. I did have a hard time putting them on and I would recommend you have a shoe horn handy. I'll watch for wear and tear, but they appear to be made well and I don't expect them to fall apart anytime soon.

I originally got the 6 because that's what my Hunter boots were, but the Chelsea boot 6 was considerably smaller. I sized up to a 7 and these fit perfectly. I have warn these a few times, and my feet AND ankles feel great! I have bad feet, and almost every shoe out there gives me some kind of discomfort, but my feet did really well in these boots. I haven't had problems with the boots digging into my ankles as has been reported. I just wear socks that go above the boot. Would definitely recommend this product. Go a size up and have socks.

Great boot! Super cute!! I own a couple pairs of the tall Hunters so I thought I would be in love with these shorter ones. I wore shorter socks with them the first time, and it was NOT comfortable. There’s a little rubber that seems to rub on my leg above my ankle... so not a HUGE deal, I just always make sure to wear taller socks with them and scrunch them down to look cute, or that my pant leg is thick enough/tucks into the boot really well. That’s my only reasoning for 4 stars. Otherwise, I do think they’re very fashionable and they actually work really well when I’m out on my muddy property— plus great quality, not worries about ruining them, knowing I can quickly wash them off and then wear them with a “cuter” outfit if I want!

These are cute and stylish. I got a lot of compliments on these boots the first day I wore them. They are cute but not very comfy. I wore them for an 8 hour day and at the end of the day my feet hurt a bit.

These boots are EXCELLENT quality. Sturdy, fit a little above the ankle, and have stretchy sides to fit snugly (very little slipping around once on). I was looking for sturdy boots that I can wear to work, but also out. The quality is great, I added the insoles for a little more arch support (as rain boots typically don’t have much arch support) and I love them even more! I got the hunter fluffy insoles and I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I am sure these boots will last for many years to come.

So I really love these hunter boots but I had a hard time deciding what size to buy. I normally wear an 8-8.5 in most shoes but because there are no half sizes I sized up to a 9. While the 9 is roomy, I don't regret buying this size. I wear socks with all my shoes besides flip flops and sandles so that helps with the extra room. I also think because of the way these boots are tighter in the ankles it somehow pushes your foot forward so if I had bought the 8, my toes would have been right at the tip of the boot possibly rubbing /touching it. As far as the ankles being tight and the boot being hard to get on goes, they are at first. After wearing them a few times its not as bad. No, they dont just slip right on, it takes some effort. I wear a taller sock to prevent them from rubbing on my ankles and I don't usually wear these all day so I didn't have bruises or blisters. I have an average sized ankle, its not big or skinny. I do think they should have made the ankle on these just a bit wider for comfort and half sizes would have been even better!

I wear a 7.5-8 usually and ordered a 9. I use a shearling insole since I live in the city and have to walk to work in the cold a lot. It definitely helps. The first few times getting them on was a bit hard but once I broke them in they're fine. I wear wool socks with themand have no issues with them rubbing my ankle as some other reviewers said. I had a pair of Hunter original boots for 11 years, and they kept my feet bone dry trudging through rain, sleet, and snow every season in the city. Definitely worth the money and I am hoping this pair is just as good (and so far they are). I'll write back in another 11 years. 😉

Great boot! A bit tight on ankle at first but they are starting to break in after 3 days. Fit much more comfortable now then at first.

I really liked the boots just to walk the dog in the rain however 1 boot has split on the top where my toes start so in the least wear & tear part of a boot. Both Amazon & me have emailed Brandhoppa for exchange or refund as the boots were only worn in the rain 25 times costing £100.00 & I can no longer use them. Brandhoppa have decided not to reply but still trade on Amazon Market Place

Man läuft in den Gummistiefeln wie in einem guten und robusten Stiefel. Fühlt sich wie ein Gummistiefel an, da man einen festen Sitz darin hat. Die Sohle ist gepolstert und sie sehen auch noch total super aus. 👍🏽 Amazon Versandabwicklung wie immer super schnell und unkompliziert. Ach ja, ich hänge immer zwischen 36 und 37. 37 ist in diesem Stiefel super.
