Mexican Indian Folk Designs: 252 Motifs from Textiles (Dover Pictorial Archive)

I really enjoyed the different motifs in this book and is a source of inspiration in my own art making.

Not the images I expected, is bound to happen when you cant flip through the book in person. Almost all designs are geometrical.

It contains many desings, you can see them very close.

Many useful pictures

I enjoyed the designs but was just wishing for a bit more variation. Good work! Please consider doing another that includes more variation and perhaps a little less detail.

Can't say, but knowing Irmgard it has to be super !!! Apart from here high standards of professionalism, she had the advantage of being in a Mexico that still was filled with magic, before globalization.

If you want to know meaning of textiles or real information this is not the book for you. It just have images of the motifs with no color and no explanation at all. Not even detailed information from the location they can be found.Si quieres saber el significado o mas informacion de los textiles este NO es el libro para to. Solo tiene imagenes de los motivos sin color ni explicacion. No tiene ni iformacion detallada del lugar o lugares a los que pertenece.

Un libro sumamente interesante por qué te permite conocer y explorar los distintos motivos gráficos de nuestra cultura indígena. Aparentemente uno lo veo todo igual pero al acercarse a este libro verás que existen diferencias sustanciales.

El libro parecía bastante bueno por la descripción, pero la verdad hice una mala compra. No es nada de lo que pensé que podría ser. :(

Contrairement à la couverture du livre ce ne sont que des dessins en pixels en noir et blanc sans aucun texte explicatif pour le travail de ces motifs. Très laid. Inutile.
