It was packaged nice, nothing broken or chipped. It's beautiful and I love it, that's all.

The glass is thick and has the feel of hand-made with both the joining points for the handles – that are also glass – and the rim of the bag/vase having the wave form that are variable enough to mimic the flow of leather. But there were no sharp edges, just the slight waves and pinch points of hot glass joinery. I’m not certain that I’d do a gold fish or even a beta fish in one of these. But I do know it makes for an impressive display for flowers as it lets them spread out and show off. If you are someone who does two or more dozen flowers for a display this vase can really increase the impact.

This piece WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF FABULOUS, if it weren't for the terrible craftsmanship. I'm an avid DIY crafter & Hand-Crafted Artist myself so I have a keen eye when it comes to properly finishing off pieces. Unfortunately, the piece that that they sent me had unfinished corners on both sides, near the top of the glass bag. I've attached photos of the unfinished, unpolished glass areas. I don't really know anything about blown glass, but I'm pretty sure that these are not cracks, but more either unfinished edges or I'm guessing it wasn't polished off properly because when I feel over the areas, they are really rough to the touch. From afar and at certain angles, they are not as noticeable. So if I have a bouquet in it, maybe it won't be visible, but when I just leave it as a display piece, it's noticeable. What a shame because I was really looking forward to display this piece in my workshop studio office.
