I really like this!I did wood burning with a pencil iron when I was a kid, (wrote my name and initials, badly).This took a little bit of time and patience.Assembly was relatively simple. Though some of the focus diagrams did not help much for sensor placement. But not a show stopper.The software is good but with a newbie like me it took a little time to get up and running.Did a couple of simple patterns to calibrate the speed and power (so you don't set the work on fire)And, once I got confident - did an 8x12 of a house pic.Was a good payoff for all that setup.Device is well built but needs a solid surface to operate on. The laser head can wobble and give some raster lines (two or three in my house pic because the table had a little give and I did not anchor the work :( )Not a simple out of box and go item but fun to play with.FINAL WARNING: REAL BURNING LASER - use the goggles included and shield the work from others when operating.By the way, there will be smoke so ventilate accordingly!
