Built like a tank!
I love this level that replaced a much cheaper priced one. Grew up in construction, so I appreciate making a good investment in well made tools. This works so well and is certainly easy to read. STRONG MAGNETS. But rest assured, NOT lightweight. Lives up to its name though, TOUGHBUILT.

Beastmode!!
Really wanted to like this more. Yes it lights up. Can switch to view individual bubbles. Have been times this would really be useful. And as advertised, has some protection on end caps. Here’s the rub…. this thing weighs a ton!! Maybe it will last longer than I will!! Would make a good defensive weapon, wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end!! If dropped off a rafter, could be dangerous! Has a battery compartment. No idea how often will be necessary to change them for light function. My biggest complaint…. don’t really want to haul this around! It’s heavy….heavier than I would of imagined. Some worksights would be a pain to include with everything else!! Not practical. For home use, will be ok. For quality and craftsmanship five stars, but for the bulk and weight two stars.
