great for the smaller weights
Although one can use this to weigh up to 3kg of produce such as herbs, spices, flour etc. etc. I find it is great for the smaller weights.Obviously, the greater the weight one requires the parger the container and this is a small sized scale so it can be a little difficult to read if the container is too large. However, as this can weigh the grams this is oggd for recipes that require minute amounts of something. It is good for things such as ?gm of citric acid, lemon peel, ground ginger etc. as one can use a small bit of foil to place the product on when weighing rather than using the smallest possible container one has and still finding it too large.Using this scale is as easy as using any other so it can be used straight away for most people. Apart from simply weighing the produce it can also indicate the amount of fat, how many calories, how many carbs etc. by simply putting in the product code that is in the manual. A good example woud be weighing some cooked chicken. As one adds more to the scale the weight obviously increases but so do all the other measurments. That means one doesn't have to calculate evrything oneself as this little machione will do it automatically. The only negative thing about this product is the way it is powered. Sadly, as many, many, many of today's small devices have moved away from disposable batteries and are now USB rechargeable, this product still uses the old AAA batteries that are fast becoming obsolete. Additionaly, this product does come with three AAAs but they are disposable so that's three more batteries for the landfill included. At the very least today the manufacturers that are still producing AA and AAA battery powered devices should at least include rechargeable batteries rather than disposables as non-rechargeables are so environmentally damaging and so toxic to the land and / or waterways including the seas.I do really like this small scale as it is accurate and it looks quite professional. It will look good on any kitchen worktop and it is accurate. I would like to see this product improved though, so it has an internal battery that is USB chargeable to minimise the damage that batteries cause.Overall this is a good quality product that delivers what one would expect of it so it is good value and I can recommend it but to get those 5* ratings today there has to be a change in the way it is powered.

Calorie Counting Digital Scale
As someone who likes to keep the pounds and ounces under control I was really looking forward to getting to grips with the concept behind this product. Alas, my enthusiasm was to be blown into a 1000 pieces. There is a 75 page User manual which accompanies the digital scale, the first 14 pages of which are dedicated to how to operate the device successfully, well that’s the idea in any case. To be able to use the scales to their full potential, you need to enter the code associated with the foodstuff you intend to use, and this folks, is where the entire idea completely and utterly falls to pieces. The remainder of the user manual, the whole 61 pages of it, has been dedicated to listing the codes for all the varying products which may or may not be part of your diet. Sounds easy? It might just as well have been written in tiny hieroglyphics.A large percentage of the products have been written without spaces, the print is miniscule and finding a specific product is nothing short of a nightmare, in fact, by the time you’d traced the code you were looking for, you would have lost around two pounds in the process.I don’t want to tear the product to pieces but a great opportunity has been missed here. There should have been an App to accompany this unit, one in which a data base could be accessed by the user, you know, type in cheddar cheese and the code is instantly produced. As it stands, this method of trawling through 61 pages of badly thought out, partly ungrammatical scribbling was always doomed to failure.Get an app for this device up and running and I’ll happily reassess my review.

Great scale but very poor manual
The scale itself is very good perfect for weighing out what you need on a diet I would have given the scale it’s self 10/10 BUT THE MANUAL omg it’s very difficult to understand there’s no spaces between some words and sentences . some items are completely unreadable and you need the codes for what your going to weigh. . Couldn’t work out which meat products were which also it’s got a lot of commercial products included more for the USA market . Plus they give the 100g amounts for all items which you don’t need as you going to weigh the precise amount you need . Perhaps use the space to make the coded area and items more easily read and understood also the as the writing is minute making it difficult if you wear glasses or have any sight issues . I Think someone who didn’t speak English wrote the manual. In some places it’s a mix of letters and 0 s jumbled up in long chains rather than in separate words. I can honestly say I’ve had to make my own list of codes and produce so I can use the scale easily which I’ve stored on my iPhone . Got to say as the manual is very important so you can use the scales my advice to the manufacturer would be get it re edited by someone who knows how to speak English and rearrange the types of raw food and types of meat etc into more sensible classifications and definitely make the printed material at least 4 times larger I would rate the manuel 1/10. It’s a shame the scales them selves are a good product .

Versatile & Accurate
This is great for food but I also use it for weighing packages for posting in my home office. It’s really accurate and easy to use. The display is easy to understand too, especially if you’re tracking your macros and doing meal prep. I’m really impressed with the functionality of the scales. I love how you can program your needs into it and get accurate measurements for your nutrition goals
